Is anyone else having this problem with the new text editor?

I like to writeall my messages and order updates in Word and then paste it into the SEOClerks
text editor.

I love theway that the new editor now takes the formatting from Word and that it makes
pasted URLs links as well.

However, every time I now paste from Word, the text editor concatenates some words.

It’s only a smallissue, but if I am in a rush, or I forget to check, it doesn’t make me look
good especially as I am a content writer!

Is it me, mybrowser, or is there a way around this?

Thanks

PS
I left the pasted text in this post uncorrected, so that you can see what I mean!

Hi Artois it does that! Instead, to prevent it from doing that, hit the source mode first and then paste it in. It wont concatenate it then. That's what I found too and it's a good work around to stop it from doing that. It wont keep your formatting. You'll have to format it again after. But it does stop it from concatenating the text so try that!

The source mode view is the 2 little arrows on the far right side of the text editor.

Hope this helps!

Mike.

No prob! We can use this thread for reporting errors I guess. A couple other strange bugs I've noticed that I don't like are when you use the ALT tab key it puts some extra spaces wherever the cursor was and also I've noticed in orders when I use the color text option it doesn't save when the order is sent for some reason with text color. No biggy but worth a mention!

Yeah if you find any more or there's anything else you know of or find say it as it all improves the RTE and experience all round. Is anyone else having this problem with the new text editor?

Regards,

Mike.

I don't really use this feature so I don't specifically know, but others who do might be able to answer your question. BY now, almost a year later, I hope you have gotten the resolution you seek.
