Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

Everyone wants to become an authority, but not many think that blogging to become an authority is a thing. I'm not talking about building backlinks to your own website through guest blogging. I'm talking about you building an authority blog over the years and becoming the best source of knowledge in order for someone to learn. When you hear that someone is a blogger you always think that they are a small fish in a big sea, but you may not realize that some of them are making $50,000 or more each month from their little blogs lol.

Example:
I was recently reading over a blog and didn't believe anything I was reading until I started to do an SEO audit on his blog. All of his stats were high and he was getting a good amount of traffic. I couldn't see how many subscribers he had, but he claimed it was over 400,000 which is pretty amazing. With that many subscribers who actively read your content via emails, you pretty much have a money faucet that you can turn on whenever you want lol.

Some of you are asking "Well how did he make money? Was it from ads?" and I have to say No, because I never saw a single ad on his blog. He did however have plenty of affiliate links aimed at whatever he had been talking about at the moment. The odd thing about his affiliate links is that he didn't try to get someone to click and then hopefully get a sale as an affiliate. He told people that they were affiliate links by saying it was an affiliate link. Now normally you can just hover over an affiliate link and see the aff ID which is a dead giveaway. This guy however put (Affiliate Link) after each link that he made a commission off of when someone clicked through. I think there is a beauty in this because he is opening himself up to let people know he makes money if they buy something, and it seems that people are more willing to make a purchase if they know this. It also build credibility for you and your blog because you're an open book when it comes to how you're making money.

Another way he made money was by having a limited learning course for 10 people a month. Now you're asking "10 people a month and he's making $50,000+ wtf?" and yeah, I thought the same thing. I did a little more research and it seems that the online course goes for $10,000 a year and he guarantees that he will help you build your first 10,000 subscribers within that year. This means you could be making 10,000 sales or getting that amount of emails through your capture forms. Either way, that's not a bad deal because you can usually capitalize off of opt in email subscribers Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

Since this guy has so many people subscribed to his newsletter, he can literally send out a notice that his system is going to be open and he will be accepting 10 more applicants and BOOM he makes $50,000 or more lol. Of course this takes a lot of work throughout the year, but building a 10,000 subscriber list isn't difficult if you have them paying $10,000+ for your courses lol.

__________________________________________________________________________

Now that was a much longer example than I thought it was going to be lol. The main point in there is that this guy isn't trying to get measly $0.02 per click through adsense or selling $500 a spot for banner ads to 10 people. He's selling his own systems and helping people out along the way. The key thing is that he's HELPING people and they want him to. Obviously you'll need to be building your lists for a few years to even be close to his success, but you have to start somewhere, right Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

Don't get me wrong, adsense and banner ad payments are nice and all, but they're not the best way to monetize your traffic. If you're selling a service for a few bucks, you'll get a lot of sales, but that might mean you're getting a lot of angry clients because you can't do all the work. If you're selling a $10,000 item you may have a few clients and not get overburdened since you are only talking to a few people per month while holding their hands through the process.

If you're not scamming people, you can usually keep them happy as long as they're getting some sales as well as learning along the way. I know people who spend thousands of dollars on college courses which don't make them any money, so if you charge $10,000 a year and show them how to make money while holding their hand through it, you're likely to get a good amount of sign ups Being a blogging authority can make your rich. People will be willing to pay for something as long as they feel like they're learning valuable tricks of the trade that they can't learn anywhere else. If you're giving them something in return, and that's money from sales, they will always say good things about you Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

In Conclusion:
You can definitely do this, it will just take time. You need to be patient and figure out what niche you're going to target and if it's actually worth targeting. Do a ton of keyword research on the topics and what you could possibly be bringing in, in terms of traffic. After you get a good idea of that, then you can estimate how much profit you'll be making. Of course if you follow the example above it will take a few years, but it's possible to find a whale here and there throughout your process Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

True. Even now I'm still struggling on putting affiliate links or promoting my ads because of the competition being so tight.

You are right that perseverance is the keyword when you are blogging. If you have no perseverance then you will run out of passion that eventually will make you neglect your blog. A stagnating blog will lose the present readers and even the new visitors from the search engine results will not be interested to see the blogs as old ones and that there is nothing new to offer. It is like entering an old abandoned house.

You will have to work for years until you see a dollar from your blog. It takes just about 6 months for Google to index your content. Therefore, you will not receive traffic from Google just after a day you publish your contents. Of course there are techniques to speed this process, but you need to be an expert.
You need patience to make money from blogging.

It probably will only take a couple weeks before you have Google and the other search engines coming in to spider your content regularly. Sure they won't see everything, but I don't think it will take 6 months.

All you'll have to do is build some proper high DA backlinks and submit your site to Google and they will be there in no time at all Being a blogging authority can make your rich.

You might be right, however, building DA backlinks is not an easy job, especially if you do not have the budget to hire freelancers.
having fresh contents every now and then might help your website gain some traction, however, your content will not pull traffic immediately. You need to optimize and promote aggressively.

Thanks for your elucidation. To become an authority in blogging, you should write in a niche area along the lines of your occupation or hobby, something which gives you daily experiences. This gives the readers new and fresh insights complete with uploads in your area. I aver that its something you are in not necessarily for money but passion and the rest shall follow.

That's cool about his learning course. Nonetheless, I bet he is simply peddling common sense stuff a lot of people already know. I mean, sure, I can do what he is doing, but the obstacle is the advertising cash. However, though, it is true that some newbies could not copy his success - even if they had lottery money. In that case, finally, I can summarize by saying it takes both muscle and brains to make 50,000 from the net.

I think authority takes many years. You can't build the authority overnight. And with given enough time you can develop some trust. So this does take time, you have to take efforts for making people to trust you. But all of this happens in due time, it's not something that happens with just one blog post.

In all of these forums that I have perused here at SEO, it would seem that there is definitely a common theme which emerges, especially for me as a newcomer, and that is the idea that to be successful at making money with blogs, or any other online ventures, one has to be determined, consistent, and patient. These businesses and ventures take time to build, and the learning curve is extensive and a bit intimidating. The trick is to stick it out and to keep learning from others while creating your own unique models of business.

I know that most bloggers are after the traffic for 2 reasons maybe – money from the ads or popularity. We have one blogger here whose name is Mocha. Pardon me for this opinion but I don’t find her very intellectual, she’s just like you and me, an ordinary person. However, she used to be a singer with her own girl group so she already had a following. And a few years back, she delved into blogging and made herself popular with her controversial and sometimes bold posts about current events. Her popularity not only brought her fame but also a position in the government. She is now the undersecretary in the country’s information department.
