    4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing

    Instagram is no longer an option if you're looking to build up your personal or business's brand.  You need to be using it in order to drive in sales, increase awareness about your website and business, and overall for branding. 

    Back when Mark Zuckerberg purchased Instagram for a whopping $1,000,000,000 USD back in 2012 people were dumbfounded because the app was less than 2 years old.  Looking at Instagram now, we know that Zuckerberg had big ideas for it since it's now worth a staggering amount of $50,000,000,000 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  To think a simple image sharing app would be worth so much in just a few years lol.

    When it comes to social media platforms, a lot of them slow down while others disappear into the sunset just like MySpace did.  Some of you might not even of had a MySpace account because you're just too young lol 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  Oh the joys of having Tom be your first friend when you registered lol.

    When you think of Instagram, you must know that it's not going anywhere anytime soon, if ever.  It's owned by one of the wealthiest corporations in the world and has an enormous user base that only continues to grow over time.  And this is why you need to get into Instagram marketing sooner rather than later.


    Here are the 4 main reasons you need to be using Instagram for Marketing


    1. Facebook gives it security
    Like I said above, Facebook isn't going to be leaving us anytime soon, if ever.  It's one of the businesses that could hit a value of $1trillion in the next 10 years or so, and that type of corporation doesn't just fade away easily.  It's used by almost everyone in the world that has an internet connection since it's an easy way to stay in contact with everyone, so it's not leaving lol.

    Because of this, Instagram has a security blanket that will always be able to fund it even if the paid ads on Instagram dwindle.  Facebook sees Instagram as a part of themselves, not a secondary business they're trying to build up, and this is why it's not going anywhere 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing


    2. Mobile and eCommerce sales
    Since Instagram is a mobile app, you would be safe in assuming that around 99% of their traffic comes from mobile devices.  Did you also know that mobile purchases are on the rise and are looking to be the primary source for purchasing by 2020?  With Instagram being almost 100% mobile, it means that they can capitalize on this growing trend of eCommerce sales which you can as well 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  There are plenty of business owners publishing posts on Instagram for the sole reason of pulling in traffic to their responsive websites to catch a sale here and there.

    If it wasn't a great platform, you wouldn't have influencer marketing either lol 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  You basically have the entire world at your fingertips and can use infleuncers to help build your brand overnight.


    3. Zuckerberg wants to crush SnapChat lol
    Facebook has billions of users worldwide but doesn't have them all.  For this reason, they need to be innovative and cutting edge in order to pull people in to use their systems, apps, websites, etc.

    Facebook has actually copied SnapChat 4 different times but in a way that they couldn't be sued, at least not sued a crippling amount 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  Zuckerberg actually tried to acquire SnapChat for a whopping $3 billion in cash, which was turned down.  After he was turned down, he had features developed on both Facebook and Instagram that mimicked SnapChat in order to pull in users.

    Zuckerberg likely has SnapChat worried because they don't really make any money.  They actually lost over 500 million in 2016, which would kill any company that didn't have private investors lol.  If I were the heads of SnapChat, I would have taken the $3 billion check 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing


    4. The experience on SnapChat is much better
    Instagram became widely popular because it was simple and didn't have all the crap added to it that you had to learn about over time, like other apps did.  People like simplicity within apps and for that reason, Instagram is widely popular.  Even today, with all the updates to Instagram, it's still a simple app to use when trying to post something.




    In Conclusion:
    You should probably be using Instagram for your marketing purposes because it's only going to get better with time.  Think of it as a fine wine that has already aged, it will only get better and better 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing  But this could mean that your marketing tactics could get more expensive if you wait, so get in not while it's still affordable 4 reasons on why you should be using Instagram in your Marketing

    Well, I have been on the fence about opening an Instagram account, but I think that your post here has finally pushed me towards biting the bullet and doing it. The point about this being a mobile app and the protection from facebook really resonates with me. Also, I could create tons of memes for my products and for what I am doing and present them as advertisements with hopefully appealing images. Building my brand overnight, as you mentioned, would obviously be wonderful, and I would jump at the chance to do so. I suppose that opening an Instagram account couldn't hurt.

    Certainly, instagram is the way to go with online marketing. I have been using my instagram account to advertised products for commission and I have been succeeding.

    Instagram makes marketing easy because it easy and simple to upload the videos of the products to be sold.

    So far, I have not made any videos to promote my products, nor have I created a whole lot of images for something like an Instagram account. I am blogging and selling ebooks. I have a friend who is a writer who makes a lot of interesting memes with quotes from his fiction and poetry which he adds to images, super-imposing the words across the images of course. I am thinking of stealing this idea and applying it to my own work. If I do so, I think I will have some Instagram material, so to speak.

    I think the attempt is always valid (It's always good to try new paths). As you said, it won't do you any harm... It will only take a little of your time (but it's something that in any way can be very frustrating... depending on your mood at the moment, haha).

    That is the dilemma. MY time has become such an insanely precious commodity at this point, and it is running through an hourglass on crystal meth, lol. I lose hours so fast while working online that it is ridiculous. I am maintaining my responsibilities, but I am hitting a bit of a plateau in terms of financial success and the time to add more ideas to my schedule. In other words, I will need to make some creative adjustments here in order to proceed with any further success, if that makes any sense.

    I totally understand you, haha! The time you can spend without realizing it's really impressive, especially when you're making money. I also lose the dimension of time sometimes and have to organize it better to earn some extra time.

    I have recently created an Instagram account for testing the waters because I have come across several discussions about the advantage of having an Instagram account. But I am turned off that posting is available only on mobile and probably it is just to be unique. I don’t indulge much in the internet in using my phone that my photos are more in our desktop so my Instagram account is stagnating for now.

    Yeah, I believe that putting up logos and pictures of what you sell and the kind of services that you offer n Instagram is one sure way to drive customers to buy from you. Firms and companies nowadays even ask their clients and those they are trying to convince to check out their products on Instagram and see for themselves what they do. So, Instagram has grown to be that social media tool for marketing.

    A bit like Joe, I've been a bit reluctant to start using Instagram for my business but I may do after reading your post. The point that you made about mobile sales is probably the best factor that has convinced me. I think mobile sales are going to become a lot more important for businesses because of how much sales come from mobile devices nowadays. It's also great for a lot of different industries. For example, a web designer could post pictures of their work whilst a toy shop could post pictures of their toys.

    I think I am just reluctant because some part of me feels like I have not yet maximized my use of the social media that I already have, so adding even more to it is a bit intimidating. I have a hard time keeping up with my correspondences as it is on facebook and twitter alone, so to add Instagram at this venture might frustrate me a bit. Still, maybe it is exactly the right thing to do at the right time right now, but I am not quite sure. The visual aspect of it is awesome, so that would be a good vehicle for self-promotion for sure.

    I've never thought about creating an account on Instagram, but since it has become a tool that when it's well used can become very profitable (and it has been showing steadfast in that purpose) I've been thinking about getting into the game.

    I agree. It really is one of the more needed social networking and marketing tools or today. I would say that for some businesses it might even be more important than Twitter. In my area, for example, people are using Instagram a whole lot more than Twitter, and understandably so since it pretty much can work the same way and you can make your messages more uniform since it always has to be picture based. We have lots of businesses here that use both Facebook and Instagram and I almost never see any of them using Twitter.

    I think instagram marketing takes a lot of time. You have to focus on the marketing aspect in terms of influence marketing. I have learned that people who learn how to market their skills know when and how not to do stuff. That's the thing about the instagram that takes a lot of time to understand. I think follow for follow does work but I am not sure if all the people can be able to do that in that case.

    Another thing is that instagram marketing has it's set of the rules that may need to understand as well. So on that note I think instagram is not that bad for marketing.

    Instagram has truly taken over online marketing in recent times. Many people have started earning passive income by simply posting pictures and videos, making themselves "InstaFamous". Yup, that's a thing, much like Youtubers. There are many other ways that people have figured out in order to make money out of it, such as affiliate marketing, sponsoring, advertising, giveaways, etc. There are even websites that pay you for following Instagram accounts and commenting on their posts! Something as simple as posting memes and funny videos can earn you money. Most companies have their own official Instagram accounts as a way to market their products and services as well as to keep their audience in the loop. No wonder Instagram has become such a craze, not just for the younger generation but the app's simplicity and easy-to-use features have helped tab people of all ages. All you have to do is post regularly with dedication and have an interactive audience, you will start to gain constant following, and eventually a good enough income. Genius.

    I don't have an Instagram account for the reason that Facebook is enough for me. From what I inow, Instagram is mainly for sharing pictures and I can do that with Facebook. As with Snapchat, I am surprised to know that it is losing money because I have been reading that Snapchat is poised to beat Instagram in popularity in a year or two. Snapchat is a hit with the young generation.

    I just recently jumped on the gram and I must say, I'm happy with the way it works, it almost reminders me of a mix between Facebook and Twitter. I get to reach new people as well as all my Facebook Friends. I also like the fact that it's photo based which works well for me, especially because all I do is post memes, even on Facebook. I wish instagram had a better version for your Computer, that's my only negative, I'm not a big phone app only person.

    I created Instagram account a long time ago, perhaps in the time when it was not Facebook's property. However, during then I did not know how to use Instagram. Now I know the power of Instagram, still I am not using it. There are so many social media sites and it is quite impossible to use each of them. Instagram followers are the people under the age of 29 years. If you want to reach the youth segment, you need to use Instagram. Facebook and Twitter are for older generation.

    I’m all ears for this. I use Instagram more for entertainment then for marketing.Using this logic I can see why it is important to be Instagram. I also think that the people migrating from Facebook(younger people) are going to Instagram rather than Snapchat. I think that Snapchat is dead and gone and we should get ready for its funeral. You are right that Snapchat should have accepted the $3 billion.
