Are you writing at iwriter and how successful are you?

I started at iwriter pretty well and most requesters gave me a 5 star rating but something went wrong in that one writer delayed rating me and so I did not get any ratings for a few of my articles which meant my general rating stayed put. This put me off and I have now stayed away from there but writing there gives a writer a lot of satisfaction.

What has been your experience?

I have written on iwriter but without any success. When I joined I was asked to do test writing. I submitted my writings, I was awarded good rating. I applied for other writing jobs, but I failed to convince the writers. Since there were a lot of rejections, I stopped writing. I have not checked our the site since a long time, however, I still have my account with iwriter.

At the time I registered we did not have any tests and my first article was given a 5 star rating. That encouraged me to go there full on. Wrote many and most were accepted with good stars but as I have said in my topic at the tail end things looked so different there. I am worried to write there now as if I am rejected my rating will go down.

I have tried some assignments. Not a lot of them paid above 2$. And so I decided not to pursue anymore of the projects. Plus some of the assignment projects were not easy. You can see that lot of those topics are harder to manage. And this makes writing there a hectic task. So I am just thinking about finding alternative site instead. More people need to understand that it'd be possible with the iwriter type of the sites to earn some good wage.

There are a lot of sites you could try out out there. A lot of sites offer similar jobs and you can probably get a better experience than what you had with iWriter.

True. However a lot of sites for the freelancing and writing gigs have some sort of rush. You can't easily get the gigs. In case of iwriter, the gigs are open bid. So you can write and if it's get accepted then you get paid. So that is something a good process. But they pay low. That's the problem with them.

There is also a situation where you cannot question a requester who has rejected your work. They give lame reasons why your article is rejected and most of the time it is no the reason. Seems the site is biased. One needs to first check the performance of a requester before accepting their projects.

Have you tried other platforms to sell your writing service? I have tried upwork and I can recommend this site to anyone who wants to make money online. There are numerous writing projects and you will have to bid on these projects, Upon acceptance, you will work on the project. When you submit, your funds will be released.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have never heard of upwork. I will do some search and see how good it will be for me. Depends on the kind of work that is there for me to try out. I have never put a price on my work before and therefore this again will be a new experience for me.

Have never heard of iwriter before this but it sounds like it turned really bad. It was probably not the website or iwriter itself that rated you badly it was probably it's clients.

Don't let one site put you down, there are lots of other content creator sites out there you can try out Are you writing at iwriter and how successful are you?

I have not personally written for iWriter, but I have heard a lot of bad stories which is why your post doesn't surprise me. I had a period when I was in college and wanted to write articles (to improve my writing skills among other things) and I seriously considered iWriter, but my friends have talked me out of it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Why don't you give it a try. Who knows you may meet great requesters with easy to do projects. You must first see how others fair there. Take time and look around and then be careful what you choose as if you are rejected you may even be banned.

Was iWriter that bad? Seems like it has garnered a lot of bad reputation. Maybe they have already changed how their platform works and you could give it try some time?

It is still growing strong but I have not gone there but hope to as soon as I am cleared of my writers' block. I am going through this phase at this moment. You can give it a try as one can earn good there.

I have written in Iwriter but I was able to submit 2 articles which was approved by the requester but I am not that motivated anymore to do those available articles to be written out there. I am not knowledgeable in most of the topics and there's a limited income in there.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have written well over 65 articles. All was well until the recent entries messed up my work by rejecting the articles for no just reason. That is the advantage they have there. They do not have to give any reason.

Wow, that's quite many articles... I don't know if I have written that many all together! Can I ask what they're usually about and how much do they tend to pay? Or does the pricing vary on things like words, theme and so on? It sounds interesting.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
The topics vary. I have thoroughly enjoyed writing on travel, gardening, and life in general. I do not quite remember what I wrote on but did enjoy the process. There were articles that were rejected as well.
I am still at the standard level. With determination may be I could get to the premium level.

You can compile your article by reading through what you can find on the Net as long as you do not copy word for word. Compiling information is not easy as you may not get all the information at one site.

In order to make your blog writing perfect and attract more readers you need to target trendy keywords, you should also apply any blog writing tool to turn your blog more perfect. Some common blog writing tools are:

  • Grammarly
  • Evernote
  • NewsCred
  • Quabel
  • Byword
  • Hemingway App

Thank you for that. I was fine there for quite some time. As many as 60 plus articles got good ratings but as I have mentioned in my post it is the tail end of my work was not received well. Anyway I am now busy with so many forums that I will not find the time to go there.

Great post! Of course, these tools can be used not only with iWriter but with any task where writing is involved. I'm already using Evernote, and currently trying out Grammarly. I'll be sure to try out the other tools mentioned in the article in the coming days.

Thanks for the tip!

These articles are meant only for the one who requests for them. You have to satisfy the requester as per his demand be it keywords, the length of the article and so on. You are not found on the Net but the requester will using your article for whatever they need it for.

I have just registered with the iWriters now. Although I have heard some not so great reviews about the site, I will still like to give it a chance. You never know, I might be lucky But there should be a avenue where you can report or complain if you feel you are being unfairly treated or rated unjustly.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Happy that you have registered. Luck could be on your side that you meet good and honest requesters. I had them and some selected me to write for them.
You must be careful to pick projects you have full trust in completing
Good Luck and all the best.

I have written once to iwriter but successless. I didn't have a very good experience with the staff, and after I did some of the tasks, I couldn't get the minimum payout. I didn't waste much time, to be honest, but it felt like it wasn't going to profit from it, maybe I should reconsider and try again Are you writing at iwriter and how successful are you?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I was not bad then, since I wrote over 60 articles and got them all approved. As I have already mention it was only at the tail end I got some disappointments. I could still go there and try but at the moment I am a bit discouraged. Hoping I will get into the mood and start again there.

I've tried iWriter but even after getting accepted, I can't seem to get a job. This might be because my writing skills aren't that good yet. It's decent but they definitely want something more. All those wasted times trying to get an article accepted led to nothing but rejection for me. I left the site because while it might be good for some, it's definitely not for me.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
I assume you are in the standard category. You will find several projects there and some are quite easy to tackle. Do give them a try and when you get the first approval that is what you will need to go head on.

I have never tried iwritter before but it does intrigue me... however, if people are not too happy with it, should I just not bother? Are there still any tests before getting accepted?

I always try to invest my time only into things that will pay. If something doesn't pay well yet requires a lot of time to produce then I don't think that it's worth the hassle.

Can somebody explain to me how the whole process works? Do you write an article then simply wait for a buyer? that might take an awfully long time if you're new with no rating Are you writing at iwriter and how successful are you?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
I have not been there as I am pretty tied up here and at other sites where I am comfortable. You will have to visit the site and see if there is anything new that they have added. Nothing like giving it a try.
There are projects there. You pick what you want to write on then submit your article for approval.

I've registered at the site two years ago because i was looking for an alternative writing site. I was also enticed by a blogger who claimed to be a Prime Writer at the site. On her blog, she was trying to promote an article rewriter which she claimed had helped her write articles fast enough and allowed her to meet the clients' requirements. I had culture shock when I logged in to the site. There were a few jobs available and I saw that the available ones were orders from clients with abnormally high rejection rate. In addition, they were low paying jobs. It will be hard for a junior writer or newbie to reach the payout amount with those types of jobs.

The writers with higher classifications have access to higher paying jobs. If I recall it right, you can fastrack your promotion by paying iwriter a certain fee. I've read from other bloggers though that with the way client are rating the writers, you can easily lose prime writer status even if you've paid for one. I was discouraged to even try to claim a writing job because I don't want to waste my time and effort writing and not get paid.

I am not aware of paying anything to iwriter management. I wrote at the standard level and did earn quite a bit until some requesters started rejecting without assigning any reason. To each their own as they say. You can try out and see how you are doing there.

Yeah, I also got to know this site for the first time. It seems interesting but there are some red light comments too.
Please is there anyone here who really made profits from iwriter?
I want to try it but don't want to later regret for wasting my time.
Thanks

I earned good there for the articles that were accepted. But there were some that were not accepted although I felt I had written well as per the requesters requirements. If one reaches the prime and elite levels they earn much more.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
I am not aware of any new rules but when I registered I just filled up the form and I was accepted. It is for you to write what a requester would be happy to accept. Some requesters are not honest. They just reject articles without giving a valid reason.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think some buyers in iwriter take advantage of the opportunity that iwriter has provided them to take your work and still not pay you because of some irrelevant or no reason at all. I will prefer to write at other platform that iwriter. Again they certain pay bad and expect you to come up with a war winning article.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
The fact that it is doing well shows that there are many there who earn good amounts. One needs to choose those requesters who have a good reputation in terms of accepting articles. Many reject for reasons best known to them.

I have written quite a bit on that site, but the last time I looked at it, they wanted all foreign language articles written. This site used to be very good, several years ago, but it has gone very much downhill. I only write on there now if I am desperate.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
I too have seen many projects in foreign languages. But you should visit that site every day and you will see projects that are required to be written in English. What I feel is that many are doing well there and that could be because they choose to write for honest requesters.

I earned good there while I was active. I have not gone there for a while as I am not sure these days if my articles will meet with approval. If articles are rejected one's stars get reduced and if they go below 3 then the account is deleted.

I registered at iwriter last year and passed their test with a score of 14/15 , but I have not yet started writing at the website.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That is a good score. If your requesters are honest you can earn good there. The more you get approved the higher you will go and get qualified to write as a premium or elite writer where the earnings are high.

There are many better places to write than iwriter as I indicated in my last post, if you have writing talent try textbroker, as they have a stable core of requestors who understand how to formulate a request. Iwriter has a number of off the wall assignments, and I don't like how the requestors are threatening the writers when they post a request. That is unprofessional and uncalled for.

iamawriter ~ Well you and I both know each other from other communities and I know you to be a very good writer. So I am rather puzzled by your experience at any site that gives you a hard time. Saw one article that said you can make $100 a day at iWriter. I found this article, dated July 2017, by a person claiming she can make up to $300 a week.

Iwriter Review – How I Earn $300 Every Week
https://www.workonlinekenya.com/iwriter-review/

What do you think? Is that realistic or a "special case" not reflective of the normal iWriter experience?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
Whatever the reason somehow I did not get good requesters. You could give it a try. There are 3 categories there. The Elite category is where one makes lot of money and for which one should get almost 5 stars. I have a rating of. 3.6.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

At itwriter it is the requesters that can make or break you. Admin I notice is pro requesters as their earnings come from them. I have lost interest and I am not sure if I will go there again. Every rejected article means our rankings will go down I have earned around 95 dollars there.
Yes You can earn good there. That page where they displayed high earners is not there now but some earn in thousands there.

I tried iWriter, but I wasn't persistent with it. I submitted my test articles and got approved with a decent rating. Though I could never find jobs within my knowledge range. What also turned me off was the rejection rate increasing on most projects. After a while, I just gave up on it because it didn't seem worth the effort. It appears like the website that started off good but then began receiving bad reviews from multiple sources. At the moment, I haven't looked into any alternative websites similar to iWriter. Though I do know they exist.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iamawriter
You are right there about rejections being on the increase. Admin should check why requesters reject so much and take up the issue if they are unjustly rejected. I can say that in my case they have done that. In one instant I did not get stars. If within a stipulated time our articles do not get attention they are approved by default and in that case we are not rated. It is here where my ratings got affected.

If requesters are honest and you have done justice to their projects you can earn good and fast there. If the projects are your pet subjects it becomes a situation where one can say 'All this and heaven too'

With I writer you need to be careful. If I'm not wrong, after 30 or so of your articles have to be approved, for you to move up to another level. The problem with I writer is that the pay is too little, yet the client expects very high- quality work .This is not always possible, especially when you're working with such a short deadline. I've heard rumors of rejected articles being used elsewhere by the client, this is not fair, especially as the management does not insist that the client gives the reason that the article is being rejected. I think this is a bit harsh and does not allow you to improve, and if you can't improve, you can't grow. I think if the management improved things and allows for revisions and longer deadlines, things would be better.

You also have to be careful with the assignments you take on. Most of the clients don't give clear instructions.Of course, if you take on this kind of work, the probability of failure is high.

I fully agree with you and that is one reason why I have stopped going there. I am afraid if they reject my article my ranking will go down. Nevertheless I am keen on giving it a try and see how it pans out. There may be some new honest requesters there.

If I remember correctly, I have an account with iWriter but I did not pursue a career there because maybe I did not pass the test or perhaps I was not interested that it became a low priority for me. But in another forum there is a discussion about iWriter that most of those who commented were earning good. Maybe we can check this site again for a possible earning project.

When I applied to write for iwriter,I was given a grammar test which was so easy.I wrote a few articles but one requester decided to give 2 stars and that ruined everything for me.After that, I learnt that it was not advisable to write for a requester whose approval rate was below 60%.However,it's been three years since I wrote for I writer, the pay is low.

Thanks for the good feedback, the author. This is very informative for all people like me who have problems with writing. In college, it was difficult for me to cope with writing various papers and I was always helped by my faithful assistant - https://sky-writer.com/essayontime-review/. In general, I like to learn something new and it seems to me that even hated written tasks give great profit, especially when special training platforms are created
