At any one time, I have at least two windows of Google Chrome open, with each window having at least five, sometimes reaching up to twenty tabs open. I use the Libre Office suite of applications. Libre Office Calc is also almost always open to log activities that I am interested in, even to do simple computations. Libre Office Writer to prepare drafts, Libre Office Impress to do presentations. I also use a text editor like gEdit just to take down notes.

I was given an installer of that Libre applications so that I would not bother with the license of the more popular software in the same vein. However it is not easy to use although I have learned the Libre Office because it was the standard in our office for a while until we were granted a budget for the licenses. Such free software give the public the option to learn and use if they have not money for buying licensed software.

I usually keep my Firefox open with all tabs containing what I need to work. I write, listen to some music, talk to people and anything else from my browser. The only things I keep in the background are my skype and my torrents. I find that it consumes less RAM memory that way and consequently my PC runs smoother.

I'm running an outdated version of MusicBee, because I don't like the newer versions.
It's intriguing to find anyone who prefers an outdated version of a program. It's a rare occurrence and I find it amusing.
How do you cope with the buzz being made about the newer versions?

- Symantec Workspace Virtualization: Most of my programs are virtualized within it, including the web browser I'm using right now. There are few things I use that aren't compatible though.
- Mozilla Firefox: I browse the web a lot. If I'm doing things, I often end up looking stuff up online so having a web browser is a must for me.
- VMware Workstation Player: I have a few different virtual machines that I use fairly frequently. Even if I'm not planning to use VMware, I usually open it up, just in case, and then minimize the window.
- MusicBee: I often listen to music while doing things. I'm running an outdated version of MusicBee, because I don't like the newer versions.
- Notepad: I often make little notes, and prefer this to digital stickies.
- Handbrake: I use it to convert videos. It has a convenient option to turn off the computer when it finishes What programs do you use regulary on your computer?
- Explorer: It makes it easy to manage my files, and I have a lot of them!
- 7-zip: I archive projects, virtual machine backups, and such.

Those the programs I use the most.

I am an ordinary user hence my usual program aside from the internet browser is the word processor and the spreadsheet. But sometimes I tinker with the photo editor although I have to admit that I am not comfortable with it. When I got my first smart phone, I often use it for my internet browsing and I only use our desktop when I have to write something or when I need to make computations.

I usually just use a regular browser, in most cases this is chrome. It is one of the browsers I use. I sometimes use the calculator and calendar functions too, but it is not often. I don't have unlimited internet so I have to be careful about what I am using and when.

I am a normal user and I don't have a lot of specific programs. I have Chrome for browsing, calculator, notepad because I find it faster, kind of like a virtual memo, music player so I can listen to every type of audio file, VLC Video player for videos, uTorrent for torrents, and skype. For my everyday work I usually only use Chrome , calculator and the notepad.

I am a regular user too. I mean, I think I use the most basic programs. I use the browsers, word (I am a writer), instagram, telegram, paint (yes, I still use paint lol), publisher and the regular programs to clean and protect my pc. I don't even use music players, I listen to all of my music online.

I listen to my music online too, I use it mainly for audio files someone could send me. These usually have a strange extension and I need something like VLC Media Player to play them.

I make use of the Microsoft office, mostly for documents and the Microsoft Excel for the calculation and other book keeping data. I also make use of the evernote. Sometimes online I can find some things. And I need to get rid of those things and for that I make sue of this app. I have also installed Quickbooks pro which I am using for the book keeping work. That's one more reason I think it's better to get app such as this. I also make use of the Winamp, VLC and Chrome for everyday work. Apart from this I also make use of the Visual Studio Code too.

I don't always have these programs opened but I do use them every single day so here's my little list:

- Google Chrome; since it's easily the best browser available, easy choice.
- Microsoft Office; for different notes, managing and creating documents.
- Spotify; what's better than some relaxing music while working?
- Calculator; I suck at math and this little tool is absolutely amazing for calculating anything.
- Adobe PDF; many files are in the PDF format and this program is extremely useful.

Those are the most common ones that I love to use What programs do you use regulary on your computer?

I primarily use Google Chrome, Microsoft Office, Pandora, Zoom and Skype, and Excel when my job requires it. Let's see--I also use video recording to do promotional videos. So, I guess I am a pretty regular user as well--nothing too complicated, so far, in what I am trying to achieve business-wise.

I use Chrome, WordPad and Open Office, Since I no longer do much of the writing that I once did all the time, I find I don't need to get out of Chrome that often. It is just one of the things that is useful for me and I feel comfortable using it. I don't want to pay a fee to use Microsoft Office.

There are actually quite a number of programs I use, and they're really starting to clutter my desktop. That being said, some of the ones I use the most are:

- Google Chrome, because it is in my opinion the best internet browser.
- Microsoft Word, because I'm a freelance writer and have been using Microsoft Word to write pretty much everything since I was a kid in school.
- Microsoft Excel, for creating charts, organizing my schedule, and budgeting finances.
- Photoshop, because I also do graphic design and photography on the side.
- Illustrator, because it goes hand in hand with Photoshop for graphic design.
- After Effects, for when I work on editing videos for YouTube.
- Sticky Notes, because I constantly forget things and need reminders on my desktop.
- Steam, because video games are a hobby of mine and Steam is the best for PC gaming.
- VLC Media Player, because it covers the most file formats for videos and music.

There are others as well, but these are the ones I use the most on a daily basis.

Well, same here with a bunch of you guys.
Usually the most used is Google Chrome, is the best one in my opinion to surf the web, but I have to run Explorer or Mozilla eventually depending on certain websites. Also, Microsoft Office, specially Word, Excel and Photoshop, I depend on those for my job. Skype is a most and Zoom for my job too, video calls and meetings are required. Music player or Pandora play 24/7, because music is what keeps me active. Normally I won't check my socials on pc, those I rather run them on my mobile devices.

I used Microsoft Office Word and Excel every time there is tasked to be assigned to me by my father since most of the time I am free. My main internet browser is Google Chrome, whether it is on computer or on my mobile phone. For my video editing software, I use Sony Vegas Pro. As for photo editing I am using Adobe Photoshop CS6.
I only play music using Music Player while I am playing video games. I have no complaints to each of the programs I am using and have found contentment in them.

I use a variety of software on a daily basis, especially for work. Adobe Premiere Pro is one of the most important applications for me, as I do video work on a near daily basis for my job. Adobe Audition kind of goes hand in hand with that in that my audio requires me to tweak it, too. Spotify is very important to me because music is important to me. And, of course, Google Chrome for all of my internet needs.

We've come a long way regarding our computer programs and computer usage. As it is today, computer programs are becoming less of a necessity since everything can be done online. I use a word processor, usually Microsoft Word or LibreOffice, a media player like VLC that plays just about everything and the rest is usually online based or using a web browser such as Opera, Firefox, Chrome or Edge. Strange enough or not so strange is that the browsers are used perhaps 95 per cent of the time as opposed to the other software that are actually located on the computer.

I usually do online and offline freelancing and business everyday. The programs I use regularly are the following:

  • MS Word - I use this to type the documents I need to print for my offline freelancing, especially for my home-based printing tasks.
  • MS Powerpoint - I use this for my business. I create presentations for my speaking engagement as part of my group coaching activities.
  • Google Chrome - I use Chrome everyday for my online freelancing and business promotion.
  • Adobe Photoshop - I use this program in making layouts for my offline freelancing, usually for printing calling cards, flyers, forms, and other marketing materials.
  • Calculator - I use calculator for monitoring my finances, either financial goals or budgeting.

These programs have been very helpful to me for quite a long time now. They have helped me a lot in accomplishing tasks of good quality and earn at the same time.

I have to admit that I have a lot of programs installed in my laptop that I do not use. I'll probably Uninstall most of them later to free up some space. With that said, let me share to you the programs that I use the most:
  • Word and Excel - I use these two MS Office programs primarily for my day job. I need to prepare some documents on word and compute some stuff in excel.
  • Firefox - this is my favorite browser to use on my laptop. It's pretty fast and has add-ons that are very useful for web development.
  • VLC - when I feel lazy, I go on a movie marathon. And VLC is my buddy when it comes to watching movies on my laptop.
  • Shareit - I constantly transfer files between my laptop and mobile devices. Shareit makes it fast and easy to transfer files from one device to another.
That's about it. ;)

  • Google chrome is top on my list of programs that I regularly use. Opening the google chrome is that first thing I do as my computer started up.
  • Microsoft Word. This is always open because I used to create a draft first on the reply/comment that I'm going to post so I can edit it first before doing so.
  • VLC - Every time there's I tutorial, motivational, or inspirational video that' I found in youtube, I immediately download it to save in my hard drive and watch it in VLC. I use this also for playing music.
  • Sublime Text - I use this for creating website.
  • XAMPP to allow me to run website with php codes on my local computer.
  • Adobe Photoshop for creating or editing graphics.
  • Adobe Premiere for editing videos.
  • Adobe Reader. I use this a lot since I'm fond of reading e-books
  • Microsoft Visual Studio for teaching computer programming based on .net framework.

I use Google Chrome its the absolute best.I also use Microsoft Office. These are my absolute go to programs. I love chrome because it stores everything you do. It is a cloud, so I can access everything that I'm doing from anywhere in the world. One adavantage of chrome is it also has a program similar to office where you can work without constantly worrying about loosing your work.
