I am satisfied with my internet speed. However, the same cannot be said about the provider as their support is pretty bad. If there's any issues, I will have to go directly to their office because they call operators are always occupied or unable to assist. You will feel like a ball being passed back and forth leaving your issues unresolved.

There has been a lot of complaint lately for most Internet Service Providers because of the customer support thing. Like you said, whenever you reach out to them, they won't be able to help you because of some issues like busy lines or unread messages. That is really frustrating specially if you need the internet as soon as possible because of some important jobs that are pending or for whatever reason.

Yes, sometimes it takes them up to a week before they can send people to service any issues. This is pretty depressing. Thank God for mobile Internet as a backup in such cases. It's hard to live without Internet access for me nowadays.

I'm satisfied by both my internet speed and my providers,even If Sometimes when it crushes to get support on Call it takes some time but it's Fine they still guide you on phone how to fix it or ask you to go their office to check the matter, Otherwise if I was not satisfied I would have changed it since long time ago, After all I have a quite long list to choose from:-)
However don't forget that The quality of device we uses also play role on the speed For example if your computer used A intel 3 processor will perform slower than the one uses intel 7 core, so we cqn't blame it on internet providers only.

Glad to hear that! Ah yes, the device really has a role as well but do you think there are still old and slow devices out there that are being used? I mean there could be some but most of the devices now are good enough to handle the internet. If you are referring to a core i3 processor then I would disagree with you because they are also a good procie.

These fiber optics are really owning the Internet battles in terms of speed and stability. And now that the competition is really high, they would eventually decrease the cost of their plans which gives you even more choices. The speed that you have been longing before can now be attained because of the cheap price! And your speed is 100mb dl / 10mb ul which is really a beast in my opinion.

I am extremely happy with my internet provider. We have been using the same one for around 10+ years now and not once were we disappointed. It's very stable and fast. I get around 100 Mbps upload and download speed and that's way more than I actually need.

We very rarely get any random disconnects and if we do, they fix it right away. I'd never switch to any other ISP.

Good to hear. Not everyone specially on the 3rd world countries, has that insane connection speed and reliable service provider.

My internet provider Exceed is a satellite provider. It is a metered connection so it is far from ideal. I tend to run out of bandwidth before the end of the month which means my connections are slowed. It is pretty fast when it is working well though.

I used to have that kind of connection before and it really sucks big time. The moment you run out of data it's like a nightmare because sometimes you have unfinished jobs and suddenly poof! Error, retry loading page - or depends on whatever you use your internet for.

Yes I'm satisfied with my Internet service. I use Spectrum, which was once bright-house, I don't like the costumer service of Spectrum but the internet is super fast, and now I only have the internet and phone service, there cable service is way to overpriced

My internet provider is a national company, it offers different plans and packages according to the speed and gigs you want to buy. The issue is to be able to pay for the super fast service, but anyway some friends have the premium package and still say they are not satisfied with it. I'm pretty sure the service is not the best quality, but also if you have like 20 devices at home connected and downloading items, of course is going to be a nightmare, so I think is a mix between service and proper use of it.

So how do you find your internet plan? Do you like it or you can't complain? Does it do your online things and are you satisfied for the most part? When I was living with my aunt during my high school days, I would also wait for like half an hour or so just to load a page or a site because there are so many users on the house. She owns a boarding house near the school so yeah, it's a nightmare. But hey, I got through it. What I did was I would wake up at dawn to do my online research and stuffs since we aren't allowed to go out.

I am not really satisfied with my internet, granted I do live in a country where there is many internet providers which creates competition. However, my internet service provider fails to live up to the internet speed in which I initially thought I was paying for. You see I have a plan where it was 75 MBPS - which is pretty good for what I use the internet for. However, when I do speed test it never ever reaches anywhere close to 75 mbps, it's usually somewhere around 15-20 mbps. This is what I call false advertising. The upload speed is about 5 mbps, which kinda sucks.

Also, the internet constantly goes out, and reconnects. I have tried to get my internet service provider to update the wiring under the ground to meet the standards. I believe their wiring is old and really needs to be updated. However, they won't update it, they won't even come out to check because they think there is absolutely nothing wrong as stated by their 'tests'. Another funny thing is, is when I'm speed testing for the support, the internet speed always spikes, and it makes me look like a fool because i was complaining about slow speeds, however as soon as the support is done the internet speed goes back to being slow, and sometimes it's as slow as 5 mbps. It's an ongoing issue.

You should take note of the phrase "UP TO" 75 mbps speed. That is their only leverage there. I wouldn't call it false advertising because they did not specifically say that it is 75mbps by default, right? But yeah, I know what you feel and you are not the only one. I am also experiencing that in here. Best thing you do is change ISP or change your plan. Or contact them.

I have Tata connection. And the speed I am getting is 512kbps. So the Wifi and the broadband is good enough on many grounds. You can see that these days the speed connecting is being offered. But not a lot of people are able to buy that type of plan. I am thinking about getting one good speed plan soon enough though.

What does Tata means if you don't mind me asking? And 512kbps sounds really, slow.. :/ I mean it's better than nothing but are you sure it is good enough? Can it even buff a YouTube video? Most contents nowadays have very big pagesize and having a 512kbps surely makes it cripple..

But if you are saying that when you download a file, you have a 512kbps speed, that you must proably have 5mb of Internet connection.

In my locality Glo is the worst network.This service provider needs to have a rethink about his or her business.

I have just dumped my newly bought sim.the offer so much for less as per marketing strategy but the service is as bad as the come.

The internet at home is sometimes slow. You have to be ear the modem so you can have a faster use of it.
But at the office , it is fast.
That's because it has a greater capacity. We pay a high price for it.

There are 2 type of Internet Provider in Malaysia, Maxis and Telekom. Most people are using Telekom but I am using Maxis because the monthly fees are cheaper although the speed is slightly slower than telekom, I don't mind as long as it doesn't give me any NO INTERNET LINE that usually happens at Telekom. The speed is 4GB but rarely reach that peak. If could reach 2GB, considered good enough.

Are you certain that it is in GB? As in gigabytes? Or you just made a typo or something? Because, even 1GB/s connection is freakin' faaaaaaaaaaaaast! It's like, downloading a 1080p movie in less than 5 seconds! And you even call it slower? My Internet speed is only 10mbps and sometimes I am satisfied with it. But most of the time? Hell no. -_-

Right now, I'm satisfied with my current internet provider and speed of the internet connection itself. Coming into 2017, I decided to switch ISP providers after 5 years. Everything was going fine, but then I started experiencing heavy connection problems. I felt it was time for a change anyway. So I went to my nation provider. Since the change, everything has been fine for the most part. When it comes to the package I have, it works for my online needs as well as the budget I have for the internet. My online use is mainly for work, streaming videos, and light gaming sometimes. So as long as I can stream videos in HD and turn pages at a moderate rate, I'm happy. Throttling annoys me, but I understand especially when I have excessive usage.

I am not satisfied with the internet speed from my internet service provider. However, it is the best internet speed I can get in my country. Internet is very costly in my country and sadly the speed is very slow. The highest speed I can get in my country is just about 3.1 mbps.

Naah. Of all honesty, the internet provider I have right now kinda sucks.

3 Main Reasons:

1.) The internet speed spikes up and down at times and my connection goes offline for no reason.
2.) My ping in online games are unusually high even though I'm currently the only one connected to our WiFi
3.) The customer service representatives for the providers don't "meet" the standards of great customer care IMO.

Well actually now that I think of it, the current status of internet providers from where I come from wouldn't stand a chance against the providers of other countries. For now I guess I'll just have to live with what I have and make the most of it.

My service is a hit and miss. The speed is "okay" for what I am using the internet for but occasionally it will reset on it's own probably due to an abundance of users in the area.

My speed is up or down at various intervals, therefore, the service needs to be improved. It seems that whenever there are multiple users are on the net in my area, the browsing and searching activities slow down considerably.

I'm originally from the United States, and I honestly have to say that my connection speed there was absolutely horrendous. It was incredibly expensive for the speeds I was getting. It is no wonder that America is notorious for having some of the worst internet service. I recently moved to what could practically be considered a third world country, and even here the internet speeds are far better. For a couple of bucks a month, I'm getting 4 MB/s download speeds which is more than enough for me. Meanwhile I was getting 2 MB/s back in the states with a plan that cost me almost a hundred dollars. Crazy.

I just switched to my provider's fiber plan with 50mbps download and upload. I have been tracking the performance the past few weeks, and it's very inconsistent. To be fair, the service has just been rolled out, and there might still be a few kinks left to be ironed out. I'll give it a few more weeks to see if it improves. The service is not something to crow about either. Not bad, but not spectacularly good.

I am with Comcast and my current speed is 75mbps down and 10mbps up and I pay $40 a month. Its great speed and It's a decent price. Pretty soon they are going to be installing 1gb internet and it's only going to be $70 a month on a 2 years contract. I plan on upgrading when it gets into my area.

Woah! That is a really cheap but very fast Internet plan. In our country, that amount of plan would only have 15 or 20 mbps and it really sucks! Internet providers seem to take advantage of it since they don't have much competitors. There aren't any foreign Internet providers here yet but there are rumors that there could be one. They usually have 2 years of contract. You really have a good Internet plan. Cheers!

I am very happy with our internet speed and provider. My roommate and I pay a lot for it, but it is worth it, and we split the bill every month, which helps. She works for an IT company from home, she she has to have reliable and super fast internet speed for her job. I get to reap the benefits of this requirement for the things that I do, so I am happy to pay my share. We are with XFinity, and they have great customer service, as far as my experience, and the speed has been exemplary so far. We use our service for online gaming, online movies and television, for our jobs--you name it. I also teach online for a local university, so I have to have this reliable and fast internet to keep up with my students.

I am assuming that your Internet plan doesn't have metered connection or bandwidth limit? In our local place, the common Internet plans do have monthly allowance cap and it sucks really especially in this current world of ours wherein the Internet is a necessity.

I must say that I use two network providers to browse on my device, which is the pc that I have. I use MTN to browse while at home for it is fast and easy to access the internet while if I'm at work, I use the Airtel network for it is faster at the office where I work. So, I combine both networks to get the best experience.

Well I'm in the Caribbean the internet service here could be much better as well as the price. They're still offering 4mbs packages here and the price is still, well it could be alot better. What I do to maintain some stability I use my phone's 4GLte as a backup service. It's kinda pricy as well. I use a router that intercepts both the LAN based internet and the 4GLTE and create a hybrid internet service where the router combines both services and does a load balancing technique to provide optimal internet service offering little downtime and reasonable speeds. From my 4GLTE I can get 20mbs sometimes.

In our country, the speed of the internet is generally slower than the speed of access in the US. But I’d say that we are quite satisfied with the service of our internet provider because quality is not really a priority here. There are times, particularly in the late afternoon when the internet is crawling but in the early morning it is super fast. What is there to complain about? It’s quite good enough for personal users like us.
