How to turn on Mobile Hotspot on Windows 10 Pro

I used to make use of the Mobile Hotspot feature on my computer to share my internet connection with my other devices or people around me. I recently had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro and I discovered that the feature doesn't work anymore.

Whenever I try to turn on mobile hotspot on my computer now, it displays this error message; "we can't set up mobile hotspot". I don't think anything could be wrong with my Wi-Fi Adapter or drivers because everything seems to be working perfectly. This has made me unhappy for a while now.

Could something be wrong with my computer or the particular version of windows I installed? Any help on this please?
Thanks in advance.

I have not used windows 10 pro therefore I cannot answer the question for you. However, in my version of windows, I can see mobile hotspot feature when I click the network connection icon. I can create mobile hotspot when I click the mobile hotspot icon. If you are having difficulty to create hotspot on your computer, why don't you search for apps that create hotspot.

My brother's WiFi mobile hotpost on his laptop is working. We have configured it last time and it worked. Some of our devices are connecting on his wifi for internet because his modem's WiFi is broken. If I remember correctly, you need to click the enable mobile hotspot and connectivity settings and put a password.

Several reasons are there. First check if you have latest driver for network adapter/ Ethernet card. Next run the
network adapter troubleshooter. On the Windows 10 search bar & type
troubleshooting then click troubleshooting from the list shown. Click
view all on the left pane, then click on network adapter. Now click on
next & follow the on-screen instructions.

There was a time that we were on a vacation in a nearby province. We brought along our laptop and planned to use it for the internet surfing. But the resort had no wifi so we resorted to using my phone as a hot spot so that the laptop would act like it is connected to a wifi network. But we spent more than an hour in testing the connection without success. Until now we didn’t know what the problem was.
