Have you made any money through affiliate marketing?

Hey everybody,

Lately, I have been very intrigued with the affiliate marketing. I have read many great stories where people started small and started making some serious amount of money - all through the affiliate. The most common way is, of course, to promote a product through the mailing list.

I know that we must have some great affiliates here so let's hear it. Have you made any money through affiliate marketing yet? Are you satisfied with it or are you striving to make even more?

I LOVE affiliate marketing and it made me a lot of money so far. Even here at Seoclerks i reached Level X5 by affiliating and promoting other people's services. I don't use mailing list for it at all. I use my social media profiles, pages and my blogs. To make long story short i suggest you search this community discussions for my posts about affiliating and research what and how i was doing it becuase i shared my story many times, i offered some tips and also i am selling some services here which can help you to earn more as SC affiliate

It's nice to know that you have made so much money through affiliate marketing and it's amazing to see that you help others to get better at it as well. I would have joined affiliate marketing, but the issue was that I didn't see one that can run in my country from a foreign country at the moment.

This discussion makes me more excited to embark on affiliate marketing because my main intention is to earn more than what I am currently earning from my freelancing work. Paid forum posting it not a lucrative job and affiliate marketing is more attractive to me now because of what I have been reading in the testimonies of users here that they are earning good money and affiliate marketing can be their livelihood.

I have made money with most of the weight loss products on moreniche. So I can tell you that it is indeed working for me. Though my earning is like I get one conversion every year. And recurring earning is not really possible for me. In that context, I think affiliate marketing does work. But earning regular income from such projects would be lot harder. In fact links do get clicked and people do buy stuff. But it's the issue that bugs me the most is that recurring income from single product or single affiliate company is a bit harder.

Yes,I'm an affiliate to many marketplace like Amazon, Konga,Jumia etc

I have made sales from my banners and links. The best bet for sales is frequent marketing. Try to promote your products links everywhere online.

Sales can come from the least ex pected site,so don't despise any site.keeping on advertising.

Agree. Sales come in when we least expect it. Most of the time I have noticed that when we drop the links into the forum. That always helps. So in that sense I'd say it'd be reasonable to make use of the links within blog post or the forum signatures. Not much experience with the forum signature. But I am guessing it does work to some extent. So in that case it'd be a good option to try it out.

You are right, although am not a fan of affiliate marketing, but i know of people who have made real lots of money from it, it's not a get rich scheme, you will first need to build up the system and the flow starts coming. It's not actually an easy thing as people do paint it, it requires handwork and persistence, to get the expected result you expected.

I have never made anything with affiliate marketing but that is because I have never tried it properly. I have always been interested in getting into the affiliate niche but have just never been bothered to try it out. The issue is that you tend to need to have good marketing skills and I just don't think it is the best thing for me.

I'm actually getting close to cashing out a few hundred dollars in affiliate money here soon. I love affiliate sales. Every product should have it's own affiliate program. When you can sell a product you love, it's amazing!

One thing about affiliate marketing is selling what we love and that's what I like about most of the affiliate marketers that I've met here for they know much about the product that they are selling.

I've not fully started in the world of affiliate marketing, but one thing that I have come to understand considering my weeks of research about the business is that it involves making good connections with your target audience and ensuring that you buy goods from trusted companies. It is not easy, but it is possible to make money through it.

I am not that much into affiliate marketing. To make sure that you benefit from this program you need to read the different tutorials available offline. I learnt about how to succeed in affiliate marketing from those tutorials. The reason why I have not fully explored affiliate marketing is because I am currently working on several projects.

You really have to take a look into affiliate marketing and see how you're going to profit from it for it has got lots of benefits such as freedom to do what you want on a daily basis.

I have not but I have read a lot of testimonies of making a fair amount of money through affiliate marketing. They say that it is quite easy since you just have to wait for a buyer and you will earn lots of money. I think I want to give it a try just to see what it's like since it's not like a full time job that requires hours t be online. I think the possibility of someone buying a product from the ads that appear from the side of the page is quite small though.

I know affiliate marketing makes people a lot of money, I haven't made any money from it, but I l plan to. I like it because it is a passive way of earning income, once you accomplish the initial set up. I will also follow the recommended tutorials on it and see how much, I can make from it.I know it's not easy, but I think once you master it and you break through, you will be set up for life. You can have a career and a business and still continue to make money from it. Imagine if you learn how to generate traffic, the sky is the limit.

I use affiliate network ads on my blogs and websites. I even have affiliate stores, a website that sells affiliate products). I have made money on Amazon and Commission Junction. Based on my experience, I can tell making money through affiliate marketing is very difficult. I hear people are making $3000-$4000 by selling affiliate products. I want to know how they are doing.

I’m also intrigued with affiliate marketing but I have been learning little by little. That it is like drop shipping where you promote a product and earn a commission. But in affiliate marketing, I really don’t have the details yet on my mind and I am still groping. However, I have been reading discussions that it is easy to earn money in affiliate marketing particularly in Amazon. That one I have to focus on.

That it is like drop shipping where you promote a product and earn a commission.

There is a slight difference that you should take into account when choosing between affiliate marketing and dropshipping.

As an affiliate marketer all you'll do is refer a customer to the store where they'll buy whatever it is you are promoting,

. . . when working as a drop shipper you'll deal with (your) customers directly. It's like you own a store but you don't have what you are selling on your shelves. If anything goes wrong with their order, you are the one to refund their money. That is why I think dropshipping can be risky business.
