Pagerank can be vital for any website that depends on traffic from Search Engine. You will be ranked higher than another sites if you have a good pagerank. So, think today and start working on building pagerank to get better exposure on Search Engine rankings.

Sorry but I have to disagree with the answer above.
Pagerank used to hold a lot of value in regards to Seo, but today I don't even pay attention to it. I have PR0 sites ranked above PR5 sites on page 1 of Google.
I think it matters if you are trying to flip a website as PR is something people just seem to like!

PageRank is useless these days. Having a higher PageRank doesn't help with SEO at all. I have PR2 sites ranking much higher than PR4+ sites for the same searches that we both target.
