5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

When someone lands on your website, they want to know everything is going to work well and fast at the same time.  Sure, your products or services might be what they're purchasing, but 9 times out of 10, they came in to read some of your content.  If your website loads slowly due to various reasons, you will need to work on that, so your visitors don't leave because it takes a minute to load one page.  Sure, sometimes when you're on a website that is obviously busy, it will take longer to load and you're fine with it.  If you happen to come across a random website, and it's taking a while to load, you won't stay for long because you're not going there for a purpose.  This is how your visitors will think, which means you need to speed everything up and keep them interested 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Speeding up your website is actually just the tip of the iceberg, you also have to think about all of the content on your pages as well as how you can encourage users to comment and share your posts.  If you're running a website, you need to run it like a pro and make sure your competitors get jealous of you in the process lol.  In this discussion, I'll be going over a few things you need to focus on if you want to have a better website for your visitors to love and come back over and over again, and those things are:

Upgrade your hosting plan
One of the biggest problems a webmaster runs into is putting their website on a shared hosting plan.  This means you're putting your website on a server where there are multiple other websites.  If all of these websites are getting a lot of traffic, your own website will slow down due to all the server resources being used.

If you can afford it, and hopefully you can, you should upgrade your hosting plan to something where you might be on a server with 1 or 2 other websites or just opt for a dedicated server.  If you're on your own server, you will have full use of it and you won't have to worry about someone purchasing 10,000,000 "visitors" for their website, which will not convert, and your hosting could slow down to a snail pace.  If you're on your own server, you don't have to worry about anyone else slowing you down, and you can have the quickest hosting possible that will please your visitors 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Reduce the sizes of your images
One of the biggest culprits of a slow website is the images being too large.  Sure, you can add massive images to your website, but that doesn't mean you should be doing it!  Reduce your image sizes so they fit the section they are supposed to show in, and your pages will load much quicker, boosting the overall speed of your website and keeping your visitors happy 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Add great content
Your visitors will usually come in through your content, not through your homepage like most people think, so be sure to add massive amounts of content that people actually want to read.  If you have garbage content on your website, you will begin to notice that your visitors start to leave almost immediately, and that's because your content isn't keeping them interested.

If you just take your time and write up some amazing content, you will be able to keep it your website forever and people will constantly come in to read it.  The beauty of content is that it can continuously bring in traffic for 1, 10, or even 20+ years if it's evergreen and written well 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love  So, take your time with each article you post, and your visitors will thank you 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Encourage engagement with your posts
This isn't the easiest thing to do if you don't understand how to increase engagement, but it can be done with one little trick and building off of it.  How many times have you seen someone ask a question, within their post, and the comments section began to blow up with peoples opinions?  Well, that's how you can easily increase the engagement on your post, just ask a question!

People want to help out others, and if you're asking some questions, they will be drawn to your post and want to comment.  If you can get them to comment, they will likely come back when you thank them for the great information, even if you already knew the answer to the questions lol 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Give away something for free
Some of the best websites out there will give away free eBooks or consultations in order to keep their visitors coming back.  Yes, the free eBooks or consulting won't have everything possible to make money online, build a bookcase, or whatever your website is about but that is pretty well known.  Your free giveaway is basically a promotion that people will sign up for to learn something new they might not have already known, and they'll almost always sign up if they need some questions answered 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

People love free stuff, so give it to them!  Sure, newsletters are supposed to send out free content and updates, but that's not actually something that will entice people.  Now, if you pair it up with a free eBook giveaway, you can build your lists quicker than usual and both parties will be happy 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

In conclusion
People want to come to your website, but if it's a bad site, they're not going to stick around for long.  If you can't keep your websites speed up by having a great hosting plan and reducing your image sizes, you'll lose a lot of traffic.  If you can't add great content or increase your own engagement, you won't have people sticking around for a long time because there's no reason for them too.  Finally, if you're not giving something away for free, you probably won't be loved by the masses.  Think about it, your competitors are pleasing their visitors, so you should be too 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

Hey centurion,

As to your questions:

So advise me how do I increase my sales?
Optimize everything you can on page, and boost your DA by building high-quality backlinks off page. You can also get into Adwords, Facebook Ads, and BingAds to boost your sales right away through a PPC campaign. You'll need to make sure your prices are competitive so your visitors will want to make a purchase on your website.

At the same time give me some more techniques so that I can increase my sales on SEOclerks.
Optimize your titles and descriptions so they show up better and pull people in. You'll need to think of your titles as a lure to bring people into your services, and the descriptions are what actually sells your service. You'll also have to format your descriptions so they look great, and they are just a wall of text, so people won't get bored on your sales page.

If you don't know how to do that, you can purchase this service from me, and I'll do it for you: https://www.seoclerk.com/content-w...rks-Staff-Member

You can also purchase service upgrades like a featured spot or a category featured spot that will get your services seen much more than normal because they'll always be on the homepage or at the top of the category you're trying to sell it.

The beauty of the website is not all there is regarding the business therein. We have to promote the business and not only the website. But in fairness to you, what you mentioned about the images and good contents are salient parts of the website that is like giving your home a nice presentation. But again the business itself should be the centerpiece so it has to be given preference.

I find that the more you engage with your viewers/followers, the more they become loyal and provide you with more viewers when they share your interactions with their friends. It helps a lot and people really appreciate when someone takes the time of interacting with them.

My ecommerce sites are on shared hosting. I have 10 blogs and websites and I am paying around $6 every month for shared hosting. I understand the risk associated with shared hosting, I also want to upgrade my hosting, however, I cannot do this right now because my sites have not even reached break-even point. By upgrading hosting, I will only increase my website running cost.

Yeah, it's not a big deal if you're running a few websites or blogs on the same hosting account. If you're not getting close to your limits, you don't have anything to worry about. Just be sure to keep an eye on it, because if you get 2 of your websites to have a spike in traffic, you could hit your limits pretty quick.

I've personally never hit a limit when I was on a shared hosting plan, but I usually put each website on a $5 to $15 a month plan so they're not all on the same server. I've had a handful of websites that have gotten successful enough to come close to the limits, but then I upgrade my plan with the hosting company, and nothing goes down 5 steps to an even better website that your visitors will love

I don't think that should cause any issue. My sites are on shared hosting too. Unless you are going over the bandwidth of the shared hosting. I think it'd work out just fine. And you don't have to worry about the visitors either. Just focus on the traffic that can buy from you. And that would be a good start for sure.

These are all good advice for a website that attract new visitors and also keep them. These are all what we would like to see when we are visiting a website, especially looking for a product or service to buy. It's always good to put ourselves in the readers' or users' shoe, so we can develop a better website for them, and in return generate better sales for us.

I am using shared hosting plan with my website and also my clients', I will need to learn more about hosting and see if it's affordable to get a better one, even though I don't think it's possible for me at the moment. It's good to plan for the future.

Thank you for sharing this good piece of wisdom.

I fully agree with reducing the size of the images. Trim the resolution so it will be lighter in size. It greatly affects the speed of display. That also applies to the video which greatly slows down the access. With good content, it is imperative because having lousy content or little content will make your website look very inferior and for sure you will have difficulty in getting visitors. Always remember that content is king so you should be sensitive to what is being placed on your website.

So true! This can be a problem for those with slow internet connection.

Sometimes less is more. Providing a more efficient display resolution for your content can improve your visitor's site experience. I remember my experience. I've also seen others follow what most online users do when the website is difficult to access, use, or navigate. They close the page and move on.

Prioritizing user experience will shape the future of your website. Make it accessible and your chances of increased traffic might just improve.

Yeah, you don't need a very large image when a small one will do, of course when you're not selling photography/videos. Content subject and quality should be the number one priority when looking to expand your number of visitors.

I think some of the websites have issues. Like they dont have call to action. And it can be really hard to get things off the sales hook. And so people need to find the proper flow of how the people check the page and click on the ads. I am sure if that can be properly monetized then it can help with many ways for the visitors and the website. That's the point I have learned as I have invested in the optimization.

I intend on finally starting my own website this year, so all of this information is incredibly useful for me! For now I don't think I'll be having to worry much about upgrading a hosting service and will be starting out with the basics. Something tells me I won't be getting a huge influx of traffic anytime soon, haha.

I noticed the image size issue on several sites I've visited. Some sites post insanely huge images which take up the whole screen, and take a long time to load the page despite being unnecessarily over-sized. Simple things like this can really improve one's browsing experience on a website.

I always get pissed when a website takes too long to load or if it eventually load, it still hangs. Now it's obvious it's the big size of images used on the site that causes such hitches. Thanks for bringing in this tip on reducing the size of images used in the site, I hope others learn from this. Good content and being in good engagement level with your site visitors and posters is a great way to get the best out of them. Also having a good support response channel to handle any issues or challenges encountered by your members shouldn't be overlooked.

I'm just new to blogging and have just created my website with few blog posts and I'm in the process of learning SEO. I have blog post that is receiving few comments and I just want to ask if does it mean that my blog post was able to reach the first page of the SERP?

I will always stand behind the content. High-quality content will attract the visitors and if you continuously upload more and more, they will keep returning. Other things that you've mentioned such as free thing is great initiative as well. I have offered free things such as e-books and some coupons before and the number of visitors went through the roof.

Yeah, people who just browse the internet regularly will often find themselves just moving from site to site when there is nothing worthy to read. having consistent quality posts guarantees that the viewer has something to look forward to when they visit your site

I really like the ideas of giving away free stuff or discounted stuff in return for reviews of for more commentary and discussion from the visitors of the site. I think that if we can get good discussions going at our sites then people will continue to come back and visit them, but you have to entice them to do so somehow. Some people like being "wallflowers" and just like to read the content and move on, but I know I really enjoy it when a good forum thread gets going, and suddenly I am getting lots of feedback from the traffic. This has happened to me a bit, but I would seriously like to make it happen a lot more!

Although it is very important to take into the consideration the content of the site still, the background, designs and navigation should also increase the appeal of the website. Writing to long contents can also bore the readers and too many website images can decrease the websites appeal o the general readers. I think that short and concise articles are a great advantage and I also definitely agree that a web owner should also give something back.

I am currently using a shared hosting plan and I don't think I will be able to upgrade soon. However, I can still try to use the other tips as they are easy to implement. I don't have many images on my site but so far I have only been uploading quality images. This is something that I can review. I always try my best to post good content with catchy titles. There are many times when the visitors to my blogs have requested me to write further contents on specific topics. I think I am doing quite good when it comes to content. I have to be honest that I don't really interact with my visitors and this is due to my lack of time. Believe me, I feel really bad about this.

I think if I just do that last one - Give Away Something for Free - I'll see a tremendous difference in traffic to my affiliate marketing websites. It's on my To Do List.

People love free stuff, and even a free ebook is better than nothing and will give your customers/viewers incentive to return to your site and contribute.
