Domain age and website age matters when it comes to SEO. Search engines trusts aged domain and website more than the new once. Since aged websites already have a steady sources of traffic, old websites are more valuable than the new ones.

An old website is more established than the new website particularly for websites that is less than 1 year old. Maybe it has a value with the search engines and it may be a tie-breaker when it comes to the search list. But it also depends on the search engine because they have different algorithms.
