Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

Whenever you start a website you'll usually build some backlinks without knowing it, and these backlinks might actually hurt your rankings later on in life.  You could be building a bunch of profile backlinks due to registering on every website you can, adding your link to your dashboard, and never going back on that website to actually participate.  Now, these profile backlinks won't actually hurt your rankings, but they won't help them either since you now have a bunch of low-quality links aimed at your website.

Think of how SEO software runs, what type of links they're building, and how they're building them.  If you're doing all of this manually, you'll likely be wasting your time, and we all know time is money Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on  Instead, you should be focusing on high-quality backlinks than come in the form of in content links that are on niche related websites.  This means if you have a dog toy website you should be trying to post articles, with a backlink in them, to dog blogs and websites.  The more links you build like this, the better your rankings will be, and the happier you'll be in the end Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

Search engine algorithms want to see quality links
When the spiders go out to crawl all of the new content in the world then report back, the search engines want to see all of the high-quality content that has been produced.  The more content you're pushing around online, the more likely you'll get found, and you'll probably get an increase in rankings due to all of your hard work.  Now, you need to have unique content and you can't just publish someone else's article from a related website.  You'll get no benefit from this, the search engines will basically ignore you for that link, and you will have wasted your time.

You can't really take any sort of shortcut when it comes to building quality backlinks unless you're hiring a freelancer to build them, even then you need to be sure they know what they're doing in order to gain the right links for your website.

Your backlinking work compiles for later success
When you're building backlinks you will quickly notice that all of your work begins to compile.  This means the links you've placed today will still help you in 6 months from now and the longer you build quality backlinks, the more your website will grow.

When work piles up it's not a good thing but when quality backlinks pile up it's a great thing.  Google wants to see a natural growth in your backlinks, they don't want to see 1,000,000 links overnight, because that just seems suspicious.  The only reason you'll gain a lot of links overnight is if you were to go viral, and even then you'll see your rankings won't just jump up right away.  Google takes their time evaluating everything that is being built, and they will rank you accordingly later on.

Place good links now, next month, and next year to always be on top
If you're not taking shortcuts by using software or paying someone to use the same software to build millions of backlinks, you'll usually be ok in the long run.  Don't get me wrong, I still use software to this day, but it's never for my tier 1 links lol.

If you're focusing on quality links aimed at your website today, tomorrow, and even next year then you'll be able to see where your rankings were compared to where they are now.  Usually, you'll be much higher in the SERPs than where you started, and it's because you focused on building quality backlinks the right way since day 1 Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

Avoid catchy salespeople who offer millions of links with guarantees
I'll tell you this and you should engrave it into your memory, NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE TOP RANKINGS WITHIN THE SERPS!  This is because they do not work for Googles search team, they do not know the algorithm completely, and if they did work for Google then why are they selling you a $10 service lol Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

I've written plenty of sales copy in the past and will likely write much more in the future.  I know what to say in order to get you to purchase and usually it comes with a sort of guarantee, but that same guarantee has loopholes, so I can stay safe if my SEO methods become obsolete.  People make a ton of money writing sales copy, and that's because they know how to make other website money without the need of lead generation.  People all over the world want to convert more sales, so they bring in someone like myself to write their content, and they convert 2x or 3x the leads they use to.

You will get plenty of guarantees when it comes to top rankings within the SERPs, but none of them are genuine because they just don't know exactly how to do it.  Sure, we know a lot of key components that go into rankings, but we don't know everything and that's why there isn't a real guarantee when it comes to SEO.  Some people will even go as far as saying "I guarantee you will be #1 for your keyword eventually!" which is just them saying "It could take 10 years before you get to #1, so keep paying me!" lol Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

In conclusion
You need to focus on the right links, not the masses of links that can be acquired by using software, and you should be just fine.  Doing the right thing today, tomorrow, and next year will "guarantee" you see a boost in your rankings.  You can aim for the #1 spot but don't get discouraged if it takes 6 months or a year, everyone wants to be top dog so you'll just have to keep working Building the right backlinks starting off can catapult your rankings in Google later on

I love the analogue. When the bible talks about the same we usually brush it. Now backlinks just act the way the bible says. Every sin you commit will follow you and so is the good you do.

There is some truth in that. An attempt to build backlinks fast will backfire. Fast. In any case you'll be missing out on something else if all you get are low quality links. Backlinks are good for SEO but they are also a great way to promote your website. Without backlinks anywhere on the internet no one will know your website exists.

That is why it is important that you do a lot of guest blogging. Those who read your articles will probably visit your site and some could keep coming back.

Build your backlinks the right way way for SEO and when guest blogging create excellent content because if you also want to grow your audience your target audience needs to be convinced you are an authority in your niche.

Until now I still cannot comprehend the effect of the so called bad links which you have posted in small sites. What is the reason for the negative effect of a backlink that you posted on an obscure site? And how would the crawler know that the site has little traffic when it has so many things to do? Pardon me for this questions because I want to know the details about backlinks.

Google and other search engines use numerous factors to rank websites in their search result pages but quality backlinks is one of the most important.

Fact is reputable sites like Wikipedia tend to have more backlinks. People link back to the site because the site is deemed to be a reliable source of information. So based on the number of reputable sites linking back to yours, the search will have no reason to doubt your crediblity.

When top ranking sites in your niche link back to your site, those are considered quality backlinks because top ranking sites wouldn't refer their site visitors to some site which they don't trust.

What is the reason for the negative effect of a backlink that you posted on an obscure site?

Google wants those who are using their search engines to find exactly what they are looking for. Now if a web owner wants to manipulate the search engine to believe that what is posted on their site is relevant when it isn't, they'll penalize your site and if the site is deindexed it will never appear in the search results.

how would the crawler know that the site has little traffic when it has so many things to do?

Keywords used in content is how search spiders tell what your site is about. There are many ways a poor quality site can be identified:

- content on the site is copied from some other sites.

- adult content is posted on the site

- site links to gambling sites

- too many outbound links, etc.

A link from any of the above will be considered bad because of the sketchy nature of these sites.

I love how you put that analogy to a spiritual level. Jesus always use parables to explain heavenly things through earthly stories. Though past mistakes may affect us in many ways, however, it will never determine our destiny until we allow it.

I think staying on top is not consistent either. Like you can stay on top one time. And then you have to get the backlinks on track to regularly change. I have seen that people who want to stay on top have to focus on other promotion methods like social media too. That way more people search for specific keyword.

Reaching the top is one thing and remaining there is another. Being on top is not permanent. It is just a reminder that you have to keep on working to remain there.

I agree with SEO changing all the time. Staying on top forever is harder. So just focusing on efforts to getting the customer is much better approach. Then again we have to also consider the chance of ranking may change due to algorithm every now and then. I have seen some people focusing on ranking instead which is not always productive.

It will also require us extra effort to the able to be successful in our business. We need to exert time and hard work in order to have positive results. I agree that time would be the greatest investment we could give to a certain business.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I agree. The thing is that some of the time we just have to focus on being consistent with sales. Because staying on top rank does not mean there are going to be any specific number of sales. People end up making that mistake all the time. And we have to learn to avoid thinking that rank 1 makes money. That's never the case for many top brands.

I agree with you. Always remember that one bad apple may spoil the whole bunch. So, to avoid getting negative outcomes in the future. Always ensure that your backlinks are of great quality. No matter how much backlinks you out on your website, quality always beats quantity. So, be cautious and monitor your site well.

I love this about backlinks. They should be of quality and not quantity.

Yes, I agree with you, quality is more important than quantity, and the product that has quality really last longer.

Writing and freelancing is like a ritual that whatever you do traces back to you. When you have bad backlinks then your reputation is in jeopardy and good ones set you up. It means that the good or bad we do on earth will follow us everywhere even after the grave.

Exactly! One thing which I have come to find out about the nature of backlinks used is that when you make use of bad and low quality backlinks, there is always an increased possibility of getting spams flooding into your site which damages a lot of things for your business.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I agree with you. Since you want to build your reputation, you must ensure that every ounce of your work is of 100% in quality. We must not settle for less and we must not think something like "as long as I can put something, I'm good."

"Place good links now, next month, and next year to always be on top" I love this advice. It indicates the importance of consistency in everything if one wants to be the leader in that sector. I love the post about having to avoid cons on the web as they are numerous and they prey on the most desperate individuals.

When it comes to online scammers, they can never be eliminated completely. So, in dealing with anyone who claims to offer one service or another, you should be very careful about it so as not to fall into their trap and lose your money.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Unfortunately, most website owners have fallen in this trap. There are so many scammers who claim to offer backlink services, but in most cases, they will end up hurting your site.

It's very important to remember that in getting high Google ranking with the use of backlinks, quality is always better than quantity. It's a lot more better to have 10 quality backlinks than have 1000 low quality backlinks. Low quality backlinks affects your ranking negatively.

While backlinks are important, social media drives most traffic these days. The more followers you get the bigger your audience becomes. Hence more traffic to your website, articles, editorials, etc. Beats waiting around for Google to 'give you a look.'

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You are absolutely correct. I would rather try using social media instead of buying backlinks from any other person I come across online.

What you said is true. I really hate people who advertise that edvetise false services like the creation of millions of quality links that guarantees top rankings. In this kind of business there's no guarantees, you can't promise anything when it comes to rankings.

I think there are legit SEO services out there. The problem is cutting through the noise and clutter to find them. Ultimately, feedback and ratings are important but - some of those are fake also. Fake review and feedback buying is a rampant practice. So at the end of the day, it might be a good idea to just rely on self-promotion and maybe safer alternatives like adwords.

Your last piece of advice is priceless. I have nothing to add to that. Your first piece of advice I learned accidentally. I was a newbie to blogging and was using the Wordpress platform for the first time. You probably know that WordPress has a Content Management System (CMS). I did not understand the value of such a system until I began to learn more about how the search engines work and the importance of backlinking. But I was doing a general search one day and found my own content because it had been backlinked to another blog. I was happy someone thought enough of my post to link to it via their blog. But I was really happy that I found my content indirectly because it appeared at another blog which ranked well in the search engine results.

I think backlinks are a bit tiring work. The reason being you have to be relevant to the site niche on that forum. And one has to place the link in the right point. This way it can earn some conversion but takes time if you ask me. I take some time each week and build the backlink on the same time.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Youngshark
Wow that is really some work that you have to put in each week but I believe that you do it for the right reasons and without having to do that then the results you desire will be impossible. As such I think it is a great strategy.

I love that backlinks when created well/correctly really are the solid foundation that you need to create success later on. If you don't create them properly, it's like building on unstable ground. It's an important reminder about doing things properly every step of the way to ensure future success for your business and your website.

Another thing that can affect backlinks is when a partner site goes out of business or becomes defunct. It happens quite often. You can exchange links with sites within your niche, but sometimes those sites don't survive or shut down. Thus, your link or links go with it. If those links were getting you solid traffic, it hurts.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Youngshark
This is a dangerous thing and I think then that it is wise to always be cautious about our partners or people that we accept to go into business with. Someone can ruin your business just like that because you decided to partner up.

I like how you applied the comparison there. Anyway, it is very true. If you want you site to stay longer with good reputation, the foundations must be of good quality too.

Great tips. From the angle of seo, there's a difference among backlinks and quality backlinks. For Google search, random backlinks do not provide any help. Google assesses the excellent of the backlinks present on a website with the relevancy discovered within the content of each the web pages. The better is the relevance among the original content and backlink content, the more will become the quality of the backlinks.

I think as long as the discussion thread is linked to the site niche. Then making links from those pages definitely helps out. I have made most of the backlinks this way. I think it's reasonable to make atleast one backlink. Slowly it does build up and traffic finds its ways around. I think on that note Its good to add one backlink at a time. That way you would surely make some good conversion on the traffic.

That is very true, quality links are the key to the success of any website. In our enthusiasm of starting a new website, one can bring in a lot of low-quality backlinks which have no benefit. I think that it is always better to invest your time and efforts in doing quality work rather than searching for quick-fix solutions which never work in the long run.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I agree with you. Even if you try to load up your website with a lot of backlinks, we have to always remember that quality beats quantity.

I agree with the given points above. It will also need us to do our own research regarding backlinks that may help our business. It may bring us either a positive or negative effect on our business no matter how big or small the backlinks are. It may show how good your business it as it may be the first doorway to your first or possible biggest transaction.

It has always been said that search engines want quality backlinks. But the question is always about it – what exactly is quality backlink. To be honest, I thought at first that a backlink is your link that you posted on another site. That is correct based on the definition but what you need is quality backlink and that’s when the game becomes confusing to me as if building backlinks is reserved for an engineer.
