Have you tried contacting Pinterest directly?

Their contact us page is here.

I've never personally encountered that myself but if there's a misunderstanding I'd contact them so they can rectify it.

The best way to deal with this is by contacting Pinterest. You can also try to read their content policies to know why the account is suspended. There is a possibility that you have violated their rules unintentionally. But if you believe that you did nothing. Please contact them so they can provide the reason and help you reactivate the account.

I also want to ask for the reason why the account got suspended. This may be related. When one friend’s account was suspended in Facebook, she didn’t know the reason so she had someone did some investigating. What they found out was that another Facebook user had filed a complaint against the suspended account. Maybe that can also be the case of the suspended Pinterest account.

You may want to contact the admin and send them message about the problem, I think that's the only way, contact pinterest directly. I have not encountered it yet but I do hope they resolve this problem. Sometimes they mistakenly accused someone violating the rules. It can be that you have violated their policy without noticing it.

This is what anyone should do. Honestly, I had to learn this step in the hard way, because if I ever had contact support at any platform before, I wouldn't have so many messy issues. We have to face, that support exists in any website, because they are the ones who solve the matters, and give the explanations.

I'm glad you got your account back. But I'm in awe of the fact that you got your account suspended in the first place.

Would you mind telling us if your account was suspended in error and it was simply a matter of contacting Pinterest Admin and getting the misunderstanding straightened out? Or what was the violation that caused an account suspension? Did someone report your account?

To me, a suspension is not quite the same as a deletion.

* A suspension means there's something you can do to get your privileges restored.
* A deletion means “Goodbye and don't come back!”

If you don't want to share the details about your suspension, obviously you don't have to. I've been with Pinterest almost from the beginning and this is the first time I've ever heard of someone getting their account suspended.

When I first started I was advised that my account had been reported for SPAM links. But it wasn't suspended. I was cautioned. But I wondered which of my links were considered SPAM. From that point, I started spot-checking my links to see if a spam message popped up. So I was just curious as to what caused your account suspension.

General speaking when it comes to that kind of issue the only thing you could help is to contact the admin of your account. You can send an email to them to retrieve your account. I am sure Pinterest has a FAQ where you could check the possible answer to your queries.

I've actually never met or heard of anyone who has had their Pinterest Account suspended. I use Pinterest but I've never really had a look at their terms and conditions. I think that is the first thing people who are using it need to do. I know that pinterest dose not allow pornography e.t.c. If your pictures are indecent e.t.c. I also know that since Cambridge Analytica and the Facebook Scandal social media sites are more sensitive to what people are posting.

I've never had an issue with Pinterest, but could you possibly email customer service (if they even have it) and ask why your account was suspended? Perhaps it could lead to a resolution and everything you pinned won't be lost.
