    Which social media have the highest traffic?

    There are so many social media sites today used by people such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, WeChat, Telegram etc. The more people make use of a particular site, the more traffic it generates. From your observations and experience, which social media do you consider to have much traffic and the most commonly used?

    I would say that instagram is developing a lot and from the way people around me are making use of it, I can say that it is the one that has got the highest traffic. More popular figures make use of it to display things that concerns them as well.

    I would say that Facebook is still a great and powerful media site. This is in spite of the controversies of hacking of 50 million accounts. I am personally using Facebook still.

    Wow it seems like I might have to go back and try to revive my old account. I have never really had much love for faceboook and I deal mostly with content on twitter and instagram though not so much on the gram.

    Instagram is getting popular with the mobile users because that social media network is designed for the mobile browser only. You cannot post a picture when you are using the computer although you can open your account and see the posts. But I don’t think the traffic from Instagram is already substantial compared to the giant Facebook and the second running Twitter. Maybe Instagram would need more years to go side by side with the big two in social media.

    I think Facebook is not that hot like Twitter as the younger ones are moving to Twitter nowadays. It goes a long way to prove that things are changing at the twinkle of an eye as well. Users of Twitter are those that used to be on facebook, but think that the former is the latest one in town.

    I also think that Facebook is on the downturn. I remember how much my friends and I used to use it several years ago, but these days I feel like people post much more on things like Instagram and Snapchat. We rarely if ever update our statuses on Facebook, I predominantly use Facebook for Messenger now rather than for sharing updates and pictures.

    Not really for me, because when I was a teenager I don't even have a Twitter, the only thing that I am using is Facebook, and it really does its job to entertain me.

    Initially, it was Facebook, but Twitter has overtaken it. Globally, Twitter has the highest traffic. From my analysis, even media houses are using Twitter as their source of traffic.

    If you want your blog to have more visitors and followers on a daily basis, you only need to add tags of trending topics in your tweets, and you are sure of views and followers.

    Well, I think that Instagram is becoming more popular every passing day and will soon surpass all its competitors. I was very fond of Facebook before I started using Instagram. Also, I love Twitter which is very popular and definitely in the top three according to me. So I think Instagram, Facebook and then Twitter are the top three

    I also think that Instagram is a huge one. Celebrities use it so regularly and you see them having hundreds of millions of followers on the platform. I also think it's one of the social media sources that has really kept up with the times and changed successfully, bringing in things like Instagram stories, for instance.

    Yeeah Instagram is great when you are working as a celebrity or hand in hand with one. They can really move masses and the more the followers you have then the more the potential to earn more money.

    I agree with you. Instagram is becoming big. Celebrities use it, thus many fans would want to follow their idols and create their own accounts. Facebook is still a big competitor and you can get high traffic with this platform too.

    Almost all social media has lots of traffic but based on my observations, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram has the most.

    This is by no means the best way to tell which website has more traffic but Amazon's Top 500 Global Sites can probably give you a clear insight into the traffic a website receives.

    If I had to guess I would strongly vote for Facebook, and Youtube. Surely everyone has a Facebook account, well most do anyway. You can bet that Facebook receives an insane amount of traffic.

    Youtube, on the other hand, gets a ton of traffic too. You can clearly see this by looking at how many views a video has. I do not know about anyone else but I am constantly on Facebook (not by choice as I do not like Facebook, but whenever I get a notification I'm on there) and YouTube. I probably spend more time on Youtube though.

    I believe Youtube's traffic is going to increase as more people tend to watch online content than a television.

    I think facebook is allot of traffic because its easy to use even the kids can use facebook unlike at tweeter and instagram. But if you searching for the site you want to post your blogs, i think tumbler is more suits you because tumblr is more on stories and highligthen more the blogs been posted. Unlike the tweeter and instagram i think they only effective on those who had a name already in industry.

    Yeah facebook seems to have a corner on the market at this point. Facebook is in many facets of life. Brands post their logo on their products, ask customers to like their facebook pages etc. So facebook isn't going anywhere and the traffic will most like increase. I would be more interested in a company that tries to compete with facebook and be better than facebook. Honestly, I am tired of facebook. Facebook annoys me because I just cant seem to get away from it. Such a pity.

    I don't use any social media other than Facebook, because Facebook is for everybody, everyone in our house has Facebook, so Facebook has a lot of traffics than any other social media around there.

    I think the largest social media platform facebook I think it gets the most traffic. if you ask your friends almost all of them on facebook. However it also depends on what niche you are. I would argue for niche's that are visual social media platforms like pinterest and Instagram get the most traffic. I would also argue given the recent scandals facebook is not as popular as it used to be. only yesterday facebook announced that it had been hacked. People are not comfortable view on facebook as they once were.

    Judging by the question asked of or by those I meet, "are you on Facebook?" I think this is probably the answer. It has a broader appeal than the rest and you can even join courses to do for free or run your own etc.

    I believe it's Facebook that generates the most traffic and is more commonly used, especially here where I live. I actually base my assumptions with Facebook's problems like lags and loading speed and I guess that's because there are too much users inside the platform.

    For me I would say that Facebook is the highest social media site that have a high traffic since in my country it is one of the popular sites that people use and even worldwide. It is free that is why everybody is using it and besides using Facebook doesn't needs a lot of data subscription which makes it more popular and ahead of other social media sites in my own opinion.

    What social media site which I think that generates more traffic is no other than YouTube. It was already existed few years before the birth of Facebook and other popular platforms nowadays. In fact, more people are now interested in using YouTube as a useful place on the internet where they could earn money by publishing videos. But I still prefer Facebook because of the engagement I enjoyed whenever I talk to people and I got my self aware and updated from what is the trend today in the society by using Facebook.

    Facebook seems to be one with the highest traffic. Pinterest and twitter follows the next. linkedin is the worst source of traffic. None of the people go there with the intent of buying anything. So the traffic is so useless there. It's not even worth it anymore. I'd say on that note It's better to promote your content on the facebook network more. That surely helps out in many ways. I'd also consider pinterest for some reliable traffic.

    While FB is the one social media site with the highest traffic, if your goal is determining which social media site will be the best for you for promoting your site, then that would depend on numerous factors : who your contacts are, how you interact with them, their likes, etc.

    Be on the site that allows you to build solid relationships as this is what you'll need when you start promoting something and asking people to share what you post.

    I personally think it is still Facebook. As I have observed, many people still use Facebook as it the easiest and most convenient for me. A lot of people in my country have Facebook but don't have Instagram or Twitter. But, I can definitely say that almost all of the people in our country who have either Instagram or Twitter definitely have Facebook.

    Yep, a lot of people use many different platforms. I use instagram, twitter, facebook, snapchat, etc. I can not get away from them because my friends use different platforms. For instance, some of my friends have facebook, some do not. Some friends have instagram, but don't have facebook. So you are basically forced to connect with these platforms if you want to share things with your friends on a social media website.

    My guess is Facebook because I had read earlier this year that Facebook has 2 billion users already and still counting. Twitter is running second with around 700 million which means it is far behind as second. Considering that big number of users then it is logical to think that Facebook gets the most traffic among the social media network. By the way, Instagram may be getting a headway with mobile browsers but it is still too far in the contest for traffic.

    I am trying to learn now and used telegram since I see a big demand of these platform in the web. Some people are chatting in telegram for some important things and I want also to get connected to them so that I can know some earning opportunities and best advice when it comes to some cyptocurrencies out there. I heard that telegram is being used for some crypto investment as well as learning which is really great.

    I believe that it is still Facebook and that is what the research shows. It still the most popular social media sites and I think that the number of users is increasing every day. I am not sure if other platforms will beat the record of Facebook in the future since Instagram and tweeter are also competitive when it comes to the number of users.

    Facebook has more than a Billion active users and is king of all social media platforms. Second on the list is China's exclusive platforms:
    Weibo which is like Twitter
    Baidu which is like Google
    WeChat which is like WhatsApp
    Youku which is like YouTube.

    I wonder if it is possible to register on some of these Chinese social media sites. I'm sure a lot of people in China speak English so communication certainly won't be a problem.

    Has anyone here who isn't Chinese ever tried to join any of the above listed sites? Would an internet marketer gain anything if they were to be on one or more of the sites?

    Instagram I think leads the way for U.S. and North American users. Twitter I believe is a close second. Facebook has lost many users over the past few years so I'd place them third. YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat and others most likely come in fourth, fifth and sixth. That's guessing off the top of my head. Now when ACTUAL INTERNATIONAL stats are included, it's actually quote fascinating.

    Facebook leads the world in users with over 1.9 billion. Followed by WhatsApp, Messenger, YouTube, WeChat, Q2 and Instagram.

    For me the social media that has a highest traffic is facebook. Because most of all people has a facebook account. And the most accessible social media that most people use to interact or connect to their family, loveones and friends, maybe because it is not that costly unlike the other site.

    According to the latest reports, Facebook have more than 2 billion users, Instagram have more than 800 million users, Twitter has 330 million genuine users. so from these three social network, you can get better traffic.thank you
