Any knowledge about Number Finder application?

I just bumped into this application advertisement when I doing something online but I don't know how good it is with the discussed features and tasks it's said to handle. I know that it's somehow related to Truecaller application but I think it a bit different. If you have any knowledge about this application Number Finder please do share with us.

I have no idea what it is. As you said, it features do spell out something similar to true caller. It is able to identify the callers and heir numbers.

The only way you can learn about the app is to use it. Try it out and find out.

It's the same with me. But, as of now, I don't have the reason to try it. Maybe in the future. I'm glad that I've come cross this thread.

I think it's an app in which you can use to find out the number of unknown callers. I really haven't tried this app before. Also I don't have any unknown callers to merit use of such an app.

That is a possibility that it is used to find out who have called you using a hidden. I believe that those apps always come handy when we are trying to sort a lot of things out as well with the way things work out with our technological life.

Me too. But, I think I would consider this in the future. Though I really don't know if it's effective or not.

I'm curious.

Supposing someone opts to hide their number does this app reveal this number or would this work only if you are getting calls from people who aren't attempting to hide their number but they aren't known to you? So it's more like trying to find out if the name they give you when they call really is their name?

I don't have an idea about it. I believe that it must have been related to the works that true caller performs which is to detect the number of anyone that is trying to reach the owner of the phone. The best thing to do in this kind of situation is to download the app and test it out.

I also have no idea on that particular app but because it is similar to true caller then they must have something in common but of course it is really hard to tell if we will not give it a try so that we can fully experience how the app works It is good to make an experiment about the app so that we will know how useful it is..

I haven't heard about this app. But, is it an app that let's you find the number of a person? I think it's not effective in my country as our numbers are not officially registered in the government or telecommunications company. We just buy our SIM cards all we want. But, I don't know. Can someone enlighten me what that app is all about?

I agree with you. With the prepaid system on our phones, anyone can buy new sim cards and use it to keep their identity. I think it is impossible for that app to identify the user if they are using prepaid plan.

Hadn't heard of it until reading this thread. From the post I read a moment ago about the Truecaller app it sounds to be a similar styled service. I'm sure either one is useful in trying to identify the origins of unknown callers.

I have no idea that there is this kind of application. It is actually my first time hearing this app aside from the true caller which I just find out just now as well. But I think it is the same with true caller that find the identity of the caller.

Hi there!
I had no idea such application exists, might try it out.
But how does it work? I put in the number and it tells me who it is? What I mean is, that it probably detects the origin of that number, information related to the owner and etc. Did I get it right?

Number finder is another one of the apps that help your phone identify numbers you don't have registered in your contact list. These apps often serve their purpose, but not 100% of the time. They work by collecting information from their users and saving it in their database. Whenever you are contacted by a number whose information they have stored in their database, they are able to identify that number for you. However, the reverse is true. Which means they cannot identify numbers they do not have. You should also be well aware that using apps like these means you are volunteering your information for them to share as well.

I am not familiar with number finder application. There are so many application nowadays that provides security for any gadgets. But not everything works for you. Sometimes, the application itself is not commendable. I refrain myself from downloading application to free from viruses. Too many application makes the gadget slow.

Number finder application it is actually the first thing I've ever heard about this. If its actually true that it can locate the unknown numbers it is awesome. The only problem is if it actually work I think many people use it in phising.

Most of the apps with the same feature that I've downloaded doesn't really work. It's either they are just for prank, fun or it only works for those who uses the same app. The app may get information from your phone once you've installed it and saves your name with your number. Other than that, the only way this could be possible is through a government app or the like.

Thats's 100% not in our country. People in our country are free to buy sims anytime they want to so its really not applicable for us to find someone using that app. Probably its working to other country, I guess like from US or UK, so its really easy for them to find the person you are looking for. But I guess some already set up their contacts to privacy so no one can bother them specially if its an anonymous number for them.

Are you sure it's what this app does? I thought it works in a different fashion. What I meant was the fact that for example if you're called by an anonymous number then you detect automatically person's location, name and etc. But yeah, you're right. If anyone can buy sims then logically speaking their name wouldn't be bound to it. Unless perhaps he has registered somewhere with it?

According to the app itself it will give you info on an unknown caller, maybe an unsaved number, but they might just give you the info that you can easily get from searching on Google. Basing on the reviews, it's not a very good app. Maybe you should give browser sites a chance it might give you better info if you're looking for a number. Though it won't trace the exact location of the number only the information on who it's registered on, what telecommunication company it is, and which branch the number was activated on.

I think it is almost the same as the TrueCaller app because you can find the owner of the number that called. It looks like apps are now centering on the features of the mobile phone that can make the user more comfortable. I used to receive calls that do not answer and my guess was it was a spam or perhaps a prankster. But now I can find out who that caller is with the new mobile apps.
