Perfect Christmas Business

I just thought of this today as I run into a lot of pop-up stores for the holiday season.
If you would be given a chance to have a business just for this Christmas season, what would it be?
Just think that it'll be a seasonal business where all the resources would be readily available, just as long as you had a plan. I actually enjoy seeing people with different concepts and business ideas perfect for Christmas and I also love seeing other people and of course my family being very busy shopping with all of the holiday deals around.

I think that the perfect Christmas business this Christmas season is selling some Christmas light and Christmas tree because we all know that most people love to see their house look beautiful and very attractive. I think selling this kind of stuff would become in demand and very profitable because it is a necessity to have for our house during Christmas season.

I think this would be the best option this year, some decors and even gift items for Christmas. I think that's also why there's a lot of pop up stores for Christmas related items these days! There's even pop up bazaars everywhere and lots of discounts.

Selling Christmas lights is a good idea. But where I live some people advertise that they will put up the lights and come back and take them down after the holiday is over. Not everybody is good at decorating their homes for the holidays. Some people have a real knack for hanging the lights and making a beautiful visual display.

I think you're right. Since it's Christmas season, people would really look out for stores that sell Christmas decorations. Even though families already have their old decors, they would always want to add something new to their house. So, this business is perfect.

Starting a business to cash in during this period needs one studying the kind of environment one's finds his or herself. Like my region now anyone can start a gift and decorations store. People are really decorating their space.So any one doing this business will definitely have sales.

Hi there Theresa!
It's quite an interesting topic, as I've had that question on my mind as well. In our region, rare Christmas food, like the citrus food group is very rare (or expensive). I'd imagine buying and importing things necessary for Christmas and selling them here would be an excellent way of profit.

I'd probably sell toys.

Thing is a lot of parents buy their kids toys at this time of the year so if I can get hold of cheap, hand-made toys which no one can buy in any other store, these would be what I would sell and I'm sure that they would earn me some decent profits because people love "novelty" and there's also the added advantage - I wouldn't have to concern myself with competition.

I think I'll sell a clean up and pack up service. Nothing is often as dreary as pulling off the Christmas lights, putting down the Christmas trees and packing up the lawn gnomes (among other things). I think doing this for people in exchange for a good pay could be a profitable business.

That's a great idea. But I doubt that a lot of people will get your service since they would prefer doing it themselves. Well, for big corporations, malls, establishments, it would be a big hit anyway.

I think my grandmother's leche flan would sell a lot this Christmas. It's the perfect addition to any holiday feast! I haven't tasted a flan that's exactly like hers. Most are just too sweet for my taste, and her's is sweetened to perfection.

If am still energetic these days I would love to bake and sell fruitcakes. it's a perfect gift to give for this season. A lot of people love fruitcake. I like to have these product since it can be prepared ahead of time. I don't need to rush just to make one. I like to seasoned it with rum or wine. I love the mixture of dry mix candied fruit and almond/ walnuts. I enjoy eating it with so many flavors inside your mouth. It was a hit when I baked and sell before.

I think selling Santa hats would be awesome. Adults specially the kids would by it for Christmas party or school program. I believe you can easily sell a bundle because of this which makes it more easier for you to earn instead of selling it one by one. A bundle or a package is a good deal.

This is actually a great idea and I've seen some bazaar stalls sell them. Some stalls even sell off all their stocks of Santa hats! Adults and kids wear them and they're one of the things that symbolize Christmas.

I would sell toys, there is a saying that states "Christmas is for children". Many adults want their kids to have the best Christmas and would be willing to shell out cash for their kids to have a memorable one. I would capitalize on that each year.

I am sure that any sort of business that you do at the time of Christmas will result in good profits. Everyone will choose a business depending on his or her skills. I simply love cooking and i am sure i will be able to bake some good quality cakes and cookies and sell them during the Christmas time.

I think that Christmas lanterns would be a feasible business during this Christmas seasons since there is a big demand in it and most people are looking into it since it is very cheap and affordable to have. We can make different types of lanterns which vary from different sizes and shape depending on what we really want to make. This is a good season for this kind of stuff as I see that more people are buying this ind of items.

Yes. Here in my place, the prisoners are the ones that sell the best lanterns. It is a chance for them to provide money for their family. They make it really nice and affordable. What they make is also unique. We choose to buy from them because of I and my family thinks that this is their hope.

Perfect Christmas Business: In my idea one of the business that will ckick during this occassions is food because this it is one of the main course of this occassions everyone expecting some unique kind of food preparation during this time and welling to have some of that food as long they can. Food is that most important to everyone than any other stuff.

I think so as well that food will sell a lot during Christmas. Specially specialty foods that are only available during Christmas! That's because people have been craving for them for almost a year that's why those kinds of food will always get sold off more.

I would say anything that relates to Christmas as long as it hit your target customers. Maybe Christmas cards and handmade Christmas gifts. Like personalized items. Decors too. I'm sure it is going to be a big hit depending in your area.

It's December and way back in November, people have been selling baked Christmas goods here. I think that's a good business for the holidays right now and the demand is there. Wrap up your cookies and desserts in Christmas wrapping and you'll earn profit easily. Everyone is in the mood to buy seasonal things.

Selling Christmas decors is definitely a hit business this season. I was just thinking about it the last time that I was in the mall looking for decors. Almost all the people there are getting decors and not just a piece but several of each designs.

Yes I have heard about it before that most prisoners are the ones who are making some great lanterns during Christmas and it is good to know that they can make a little money out of the Christmas season which is already a big help for their families. I really appreciate their works because they are very nice and beautiful and you will never expect that it was an art made by a prisoner. It is really amazing to see that some people who are in the cell have some very nice talent and skills when it comes to certain things.

I think it's great that prisoners have a positive, creative, outlet that help them earn while they're serving their sentence. This is also teaching them new skill that they can use once they're done serving their sentence.

I think there is no perfect business. But I have seen that delivery guys and the food places continue to make money in and out of December. And they just keep going. I think that's what make those business running all the time of the year. I have seen many people making use of the transport and food facilities for earning.

I think that selling some Christmas groceries might also be a good source of profit this Christmas season because people now are buying for it to have something to be served dung the Christmas and new year's eve. I have seen a lot of promo sales about grocery items which makes it more interesting for the customers to buy as they are having a variety of choices from their limited budget.

When my sister-in-law was still living in our country she would be buying toys and cheap clothes that she would sell to the people in the neighborhood. She didn’t have a store. What she does is to put out a table in the front yard and that’s where she showcased her products. Almost always her goods are sold out before Christmas day that she earns good money. The only hardship is in procuring the products that she buys from a distant trading shop.

Try selling sweets. This is will surely sell like hotcakes during festive season. You can try buying it from another seller or bake it if you know how to. Cheap gift items is also a good choice because everyone want to give someone a gift even if it is small and cheap items. But of you want to sell this you should have started shopping or doing this at the first week of december as there are a lot of competitors and the market will be very crowded as Christmas day approcahes.

Christmas decorations sell really well in December as do Christmas cards. Christmas hampers also sell well in my city as a good gift to your friends and family. I like hampers because you'll always find something for each person in the house.

Aside from those, I'd have to say that retailing clothes would be a good idea, since it isn't perishable and can be sold even past Christmas. Clothes are a popular gift for the practical gift-giver, and for people who want to splurge a little during the holidays.
