I think I would give a gift for myself for a gold bracelet this Christmas to give a reward for myself for doing a good job on my offline and online works. It feels good to be rewarded since it increase my moral and my confidence to work hard to achieve my goals in life. I know that it might be expensive but I know it is worth it for the effort and patience that I had made before.

This year I’m not buying myself anything just because finances are a little tight and it’s tough to stretch the budget. If I was purchasing myself a gift I’d love some new earrings or an Apple Watch!

What is the place where you spend the most time? Your bedroom, the kitchen, or do you love to relax by giving yourself a good bath? You could renew your favorite space to fill you with energy, give you joy and make you feel good, and you won't have to spend tons of money. Maybe it will not be something that you can use or carry around but feeling comfortable in your preferred space will improve your mood. Also the advantage of this gift is that it will last a long time. Tidying it up, putting some pretty flowers, rearranging furniture... All of this makes a huge change!

I love this idea! I think I might rearrange my bedroom and make it a more comfortable and relaxing space. Thank you for the inspiration - sometimes it's not about material objects but just making what I've already got feel better!

You're welcome! I hope it works for you as it has worked for me. I constantly clean up the kitchen and my bedroom, as they are the places I spend the most time in. It sure makes a gigantic difference in my mood and energy levels!

Wow! This is such a great idea. I love the feel of something new inside my favorite space. I have to make my bedroom more comfortable so I can have a great time celebrating Christmas.

Hahahaha. I think that the sentimental aspect is what matters most rather than the price of the gift. But on the other hand "what do i know", maybe it is the pricy item that makes you work harder.

I do this too! I make sure to *pamper* myself on special occasions like Christmas and my birthday. What I've noticed though, is that as I get older, I try to get more practical gifts for myself without splurging. This year, I'm thinking of getting myself a new pair of glasses, since my current one's kinda worn out already.

Practical gifts to me are the best kind. I always prefer gifts that I know I’m going to really get use out of, rather than things that are just ornamental.

As a young adult, I realized I've become more mature since I started looking for more practical things instead of fancy, expensive gifts. Haha.

Christmas season is here! And as they say, this is the season to be jolly! Celebrations everywhere and gifts are wrapped, ready to be received and ripped off to see the surprise present inside. We tend to share gifts with one another, but how about a gift from yourself to yourself? how fun could that be? It may be hard to decide, but as for me, I wanted a 2019 planner. This gift to myself is a reminder that everything I've learned from this year is about to be executed, and all my reaping deserves my sowing. Blessings are coming and I need myself to pull together, write my plans down, and internalize as to how I could maximize and share them with other people next year!

My Christmas gift for myself is “spa and massage”. I’ve decided to spend my Christmas holiday pampering myself and giving myself a little treat. I think I need a little pampering because I’m quite stressed out at work so I will be grabbing this opportunity during the holidays.

With the pace of life so hurried that we live today and the high levels of stress, going to a spa sounds like an excellent gift idea to yourself. Even if it seems a useless or superficial expense, it is a way to pamper your body and thank it for what it does for you every day. Even a simple facial will make you feel like new!

That sounds heavenly. Some nice rest and relaxation time is something you can’t really put a price on. I often hear people talking about the importance of self care, and doing those kinds of things to ensure you’re in tip-top shape both physically and mentally.

I think i will need to buy myself a pair of eyeglasses. My vision really suck earlier this year and it became worse when i staryed freelancing. I want to take care of my eyes more to be able to perform better at my jobs.

I think that I will by PS4 console for Christmas. I mean, we will see in a few days but there is a discount in one of the nearby stores, so I think that I should give it a go. But I am not that great with money so I have to think a little bit more. Also, if I buy PS4 I will surely buy some games for it, two or three and I think that one of them will be Red Dead Redemption 2.

I would give myself a cryptocurrency account and start seriously investing in cryptocurrencies. As it stands now, family matters are hindering me from making a final decision. Hoping 2019 I'll be able to see my way clear.

This is also what I am doing yearly on christmas season. I usually give myself a gift for the hardwork that I did in this year. I already bought some new clothes, new smartphone, new shoes and bag. It also serves as my motivation to workhard in my daily job. We should also consider giving ourselves some things that we want. It boost our productivity daily.

This Christmas I'm giving myself the gift of rest and relaxation. I 'm not where I want to be in life, but I'm not where I used to be. I will buy a couple of bottles of vodka and I intend to have a tot or two each day at the holidays. I will also buy myself some nice chocolates because I try to stay away from them during the year, I think I deserve a treat.

Sometimes it costs us to invest in experiences because we see it as something temporary, however, the satisfaction and the memories they leave are for life. For me, this Christmas I will invest in something I've never done, something that challenges my fears, something that I can't wait to do: paraglide!

Actually i am thinking about buying things that i wanted since then to gift myself for this year 2018. I am planning to buy clothes and shoes because i wanted to spend my money to give myself a reward for doing things that made me happy this 2018.

I bought a phone online, I was so happy I was able to buy it for a small price, I saved around 2k and I was so happy but I was so disappointed like really sad because they said that they can't deliver my item that the delivery failed, and that they will return it to the seller, and the options maybe that I bought it again at the regular price which is way more expensive, so I am so unlucky and I am really feeling down right now.

I'm planning on buying an external disk drive. I've been wanting to buy one because my laptop is already full of documents and movies. Hopefully I will be able to buy one once I receive my money from my freelance sites and online jobs. It would surely be a great thing for me if I buy something for myself this Christmas.

I always wanted new shoes. It brings happiness to me but that's not what I want for Christmas. This Christmas I wanted to have a family vacation. Material things are easy to have but the time and bonding with a family are important and sometimes it is hard to have.

I am shallow when it comes to gifts because I love simple things like cake, ice cream, chocolates and other sweet things. Last year I bought myself a new pair of shoes that I wore on Christmas day. But for this year I am buying a coat which is Korean in design. That will be my gift to myself and I can use it for our trip to Tokyo next year in time for the cherry blossoms which is the end of winter.

Japan during cherry blossom season is incredible. Will this be your first visit to Japan? It’s also beautiful in autumn when all the leaves are changing.

I don't see why you can't buy yourself a gift for Christmas. It's more like a reward for all that you've done for yourself this year. The reward I gave myself this year are inks and fountain pen. I'm about to order my second ink bottle soon. LOL! It's the first time I'm slightly splurging on myself.

I never buy myself Christmas gifts.

I believe nonetheless that if I was to buy myself a gift this year, it would be a two year premium godaddy hosting package. I've always thought about creating a book review blog but it is something I'll have to do do next year because as an ebook writer I'll be needing a platform to promote my ebooks whilst also making some money promoting other people's ebooks.

If I would give myself a gift this Christmas, I would give myself a new cellphone. Unfortunately, my cellphone was broken last month and I need to buy a new one because it was very essential to my ministry and freelancing.

That's a splendid idea, but if I would like to get myself a gift, then I wouldn't wait for Christmas. I hate using holidays as an excuse to get something for myself. If I could, however, I would like to get a chainsaw. We have a lot of trees in the yard that are overgrown, and to cut them down with an axe is a hard work for my husband.

I will love to pamper myself this season .it not about showing only others love but we should start from our self. Even the holy book says we should love our neighbor like we love ourselves not loving them more than we love ourselves. So I'm getting myself a new quality wrist watch I know I will really loved to have one since the other one is bad.

I LOVE CLOTHES and it's the perfect time to buy them because of the discounts and sale, they're everywhere! I want a new phone though because it's getting slow and the battery's a bit degraded but I'm gonna give it maybe a year before I upgrade. I don't really have that much stuff in my wishlist.

I am not sure yet as I am having the same issues as you are. But I think I would myself a nice of pair of shoes. The last pair that I had was so long ago, and I think it is high time that I treat myself out. After all, I did have a hard year this year but I still worked it out. So I will make sure to make something out to reward myself.

Gift giving this Christmas is rampant. For all the hard work 2018 has given me, I would have to think first of the best gift I could give to myself. I am already thinking of vacationing within the country, but that has to wait until I was able to sort out some workloads before holidays end. Anyways, I already have a separate preparation this coming New Year Eve to make things even better.

We have the same budget issue. I think almost all people also have this issue. If budget is not an issue, I would give myself a brand new car and a house and lot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That would be an amazing gift! I do think most of us have budget constraints to contend with but it’s still nice to dream. I’d also like to add some luxurious travel to that list too if we can choose anything we like!

Giving yourself a gift on christmas: This christmas I think I xan't buy something materially for my self because I just quited in my Job last month I am adjusting in my finances but i have something in my mind to treat my self, to have a haircut and color to my hair.

The best give that I can give myself is medicine. This will give me more life than I could imagine. Without it, I will not be able to fulfill my desires. I need to take care of my health. However, If I have extra monetary value I would always love to buy a toy train. I love watching it running around the village that I made. Having it will complete my collection. i am longing to incorporate it with my photography.

You should always treat yourself! Be it a product or a service, try and appreciate the effort you put in daily! I try and enjoy at least one thing every day...It can bee a candy, a nap or a good cup of black coffee! Giving yourself a Gift on Christmas

I like the idea of small rewards more frequently than buying yourself one large thing. I’m a big coffee drinker so treating myself to a coffee at my local coffee shop is always a nice motivator.

My best gift would be giving my family a Merry Christmas. We're through challenging times and need to remain united. I'd be very much happy if I can contribute to the Christmas meals and maybe giving everyone a small gift.

I don't usually buy myself anything for Christmas. I tend to relax at home with family and friends, cook and celebrate with them. Guess I've always considered time with my family as a gift because we're always so busy that we see very little of each other.

I envy you guys since you buy something for yourself every Christmas. As for myself, all I give myself is a pat on the back for a job well done each year. I'm more into giving than receiving anyway, Giving yourself a Gift on Christmas. So I'll spend my money giving gifts in kind to people dear to me and has helped me along the way.

Aside from those tangible things, I was thinking of giving myself some pampering. I am planning of treating myself on a spa. I am also planning to give myself a treat to eat at one of my favorite fastfood chain and restaurants since it makes me feel happy and satisfied. I like eating some of my favorite food if I have some time and money to give a simple reward on my self.

A special meal is always a nice treat to yourself. It's also nice since you can often get a good meal at a fast food place for a decent amount of money, so it's a treat as well as being not too much of a hit to the budget. Good plan!

Since I joined our coop and I have my 13th month pay, I was able to buy gifts for myself. I spent what I think are my extra money for my shoes and bag. Moreover, I was able to buy appliances for my mom as a gift. It is better to spend our money anyway to the things we can use everyday.

Giving gifts for myself, it's not a good option for me, but treat yourself this holiday season as thanks for the hardship that you have done in this year also thank god for the life and foods that he gave to us and appreciate every blessing that may come thanks.

I will give myself enough physical and mental rest this Christmas. I will evade myself from doing my school work here at home. I will see to it that I get enough sleep and enough food intake this Christmas. I feel that I have been too hard with myself this year. I work more than 10 hours a day and six days a week even when my body cries for rest.

This year the Christmas atmosphere is too weird.Everyone seems to be broke and just tired of life. I have decided to let go of most of my expectations of what christmas should be and just relax. I have chosen to spend my time unwinding and relaxing, And not worrying about the fact that I don't have as much money as I would love to have.

I have been so busy with the work. I have not treated myself well and that has resulted in a lot of issues. You can see that when you neglect your own self, you tend to make more mistakes. And you chase the world which is going to slip out of your hands any way. So it's reasonable to treat yourself with some respect. You can see that christmas gifts are often not good enough to be use. And that shows how the gifting works out for most of the people.

If I could, I would want to buy myself books from one of my favorite series and try online shopping for the first time. Or maybe some cute clothes and stuffed toys, or something. Alas, my wallet is not too generous right now. Since I'm still a student, we always go by the rule "no class, no money" and that is just heartbreaking but true.

I'd love to get myself a new turtleneck sweater, to be honest. I might be able to splurge for one of good quality if I manage to budget my money right. I don't really want to overspend, given how hard it is to keep myself from spending once I get started. There's a reason I don't like walking around malls with cash in my pocket.

But the occasional gift to reward myself for doing well shouldn't be too bad.

Honestly, I did not buy a Christmas gift for myself but I did for my family. My income for this year as a freelancer is not really good and I am planning to go back to the Corporate World this coming 2019. But celebrating the Christmas day with my family and relatives was a great gift for me. It does not happen every year that is why this year has been special.
