I would prefer Paypal since most of my online jobs are paying through Paypal. It is widely used and well-known in the industry. I also have a Payoneer account but so far I wasn't able to find jobs that pay through Payoneer. I also like how Paypal deals with account problems.

Almost all of the online transactions use paypal since it is widely acceptable by numerous sites and they have a friendly manner of dealing with their clients.

Moreover, I get used to Paypal. So I think there is no need for me to look for other payment services. I have no idea how it goes with Payoneer yet though I heard it before. The bottomline is, most of my online money transactions are held through Paypal and so far I have no bad experience yet using it.

I use Paypal for my online transactions. It's the one that I'm comfortable linking my cards and my local bank account. I've never tried Payoneer yet.

Paypal. Paypal has stood the test of time and is the more widely available payment processor. It's easy, secure, and convenient to use. Havent' had any issues with Paypal yet. I trust Paypal's services.

I prefer Paypal. I have been using their services for a year and so far so good! I also wanted to use Payoneer but there are certain problems in my country regarding the withdrawal of cash from Payoneer card, so I have chosen Paypal!

Can't you just use your Payoneer balance? It's easier that way. Well, maybe there's not a lot of options online for Payoneer itself, but maybe you can use the card anywhere online where they accept credit cards.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I can use it but there are certain problems with freelancers and tax payment in my country. That is why I use paypal because I do not have such problems as I have with payoneer. And I can perfectly use my credit card linked to my paypal account.

Yes. I think that Paypal covers more countries than Payoneer. I have used Paypal for more than a year now and I have faced problems before with it. But I like how they deal with problems.

I prefer PayPal. It is where I am paid online. It also where I transfer my money from PayPal to my MasterCard.

I prefer PayPal because it has a steady and good reputation. Most freelancing job used PayPal as well. I've heard though that Payoneer can give you more earning because they charge less unlike PayPal. For the meantime, I would have to stick for PayPal as my payment option.

I am using PayPal and I am satisfied with my subscription with them. I find it very useful and user friendly. I am using PayPal for about two months now and so far I don't have any problems or issues regarding PayPal. It is also the most common payment option since most of the sites that I worked on pay through PayPal.

I am using Paypal as my payment processor. I find it secured and reliable. Since, it's the oldest and largest payment processor. I don't see any problem with their services except on the long wait of transferring funds to banks accounts. It's convenient to use and hassle free. I trust Paypal than Payoneer.

I agree with you. PayPal is the payment processor chosen by many business companies and individuals. PayPal develop a good reputation in the industry that's why they have the higher trust rating.

Paypal or payoneer? What do you prefer: As of now I only have a paypla account because i never had a problem using it until now so I can'y differentiate what's the difference of the two paying portal. But my friend told me and encourage to use payoneer specially in to those freelancers because as what he said payoneer change the value of the dollar higher a little compare to the paypal.

Paypal is comfortable to use, the problem is that it's an insecure platform since they might limit your account for no valid reason, hold your money or close your account. I would say don't keep your money on Paypal for too long if you're not willing to lose it. Payoneer sounds like a more secure platform in that respect. I recently opened a Payoneer account and hope to give it good use soon.

PayPal, obviously. It's a lot more common and easier to use. In my honest opinion, I don't see how Payoneer would last long. The market is a cruel place, and a company that can't compete with others won't be able to sustain itself for long. Many companies use only PayPal to withdraw funds and deem it to be sufficient.

Yes, in this certain field, PayPal really does excel. Competing against them is a tough battle. Unless, PayPal does things that will ruin their image, then they're not at risk.

you can use both if you want but PayPal is good for me. You can bill ppl directly to their email and they don't even have to have a PayPal account to pay you, that option might still be hidden in the corner tho. If you can I would just use both because it might save time if someone doesn't like paypal because the next best way to get paid is western union or a straight up bank transfer.

PayPal works better for me. I can easily transfer money from my PayPal account to my local bank account without any charges, and I can also spend my PayPal money to purchase things online. Many shops online accept PayPal payments nowadays, so I think it's very convenient for me to spend the money I received via PayPal. I am not familiar with Payoneer and I am not sure if it's as good as PayPal, so far I am happy with PayPal and I'll just stick to it.

Payoneer is same as paypal. All that paypal services are same with payoneer. But the transaction cost for the payoneer are relatively low. So say 100$ from paypal would cut your 9$. But with payoneer the charges are low like only 3$ with the charges are cut with payoneer. So you get lot better payouts with the payoneer.

I would always prefer PayPal. I've been using it for a long time and I have no issues so far. I wouldn't even ask for other options or services because PayPal already has what I want.

I think that I would really prefer PayPal because I am already used to it for a longer period of time and I have never find such payment processor which is being used my most people and companies all over the world. PayPal has a very reliable and reputable image which is something that I really like the most. The service is also very good and convenient to use which makes think of not trying other payment processor that I know.

PayPal is more useful since a lot of people and businesses are using it. Here in the Philippines, Payoneer is a newcomer and there's only a few people using it, unlike PayPal which is being used by 95 percent of the freelancers here.

I am from the Philippines but I actually didn't know about Payoneer until I read this thread. Perhaps, it's still struggling to make itself known here in the country.

A lot of employers already have a PayPal account, so I believe you should get one as soon as possible if you're planning to be a freelancer. However, Payoneer is also gaining ground so it's not that bad if you can have both.

I haven’t yet delved into the world of Payoneer so based on that I’d have to say it’s PayPal for me. I’m open to other methods of payment, but since PayPal works efficiently enough for me right now I haven’t really delved into other payment sources.

Lots of freelance jobs on internet use paypal on paying you for the tasks you've done that's why paypal is the one that I use. I also could transfer my earnings to other account easily and could withdraw the cash faster. I didn't try payoneer but I also heard about this one.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes, you are right. Since most of the freelancing sites pay with PayPal, many people use it. I actually am not interested in using Payoneer since PayPal is so far very useful to me.

Most freelancing sites accept PayPal over payoneer so having a PayPal account would be beneficial. For someone like me, however, I prefer Payoneer because PayPal only allows people from my country make payment, it doesn't allow us receive payment and that has been very tough and limiting in the jobs I can take on

Payoneer is also good but few companies use it. Paypal is the most-widely used and almost every company use Paypal as their payment option. So for me, I prefer Paypal more. But I will choose Payoneer as my second choice.

Here's how I see this. If you are having big payments and want low transaction cost then you can go for the payoneer. Paypal is only good for the small sites that pay like 5$ to 50$ type of payouts. If you want to get bigger payouts then the payoneer sounds lot better compared to paypal. And people would have lot better payouts directly to the bank if you can find currency conversion which may work for you.

I have both PayPal and Payoneer. I've used PayPal longer and I have yet to encounter any problems with it. So most definitely I'll be saying to stick to PayPal. I'm not sure if Payoneer sends transactions details as well, maybe it does. But PayPal's notifications are always fast. Another reason to use PayPal is it's worldwide availability.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, I also have to mention that I once tried to register on Payoneer and it gave me some issues. PayPal is overall a lot more simple and user friendly. They don't ask you about excessive details as well like Payoneer does. Your VISA/MasterCard is sufficient for PayPal to confirm your identity. While many other services demand bills and all sorts of nonsense.

And also since a lot of people and even businesses use PayPal with some of their transactions this makes it easier for a lot of other people to trust PayPal. Honestly the first time I've heard of Payoneer was when I applied for a freelance site that only used this service. I was having a bit of trust issue with Payoneer as I've never heard of it before so I didn't continue using the service.

I have always preferred PayPal to payoneer account. PayPal is safe and very secured. Ones account can hardly get hacked . Buyers are given a good amount of consideration if any transaction goes south with a seller. Their services are top notch and very convenient too.

I prefer paypal. I have never really used payoneer, but they are some sites that require it so I may have to join. I think both sites have their advantages and disadvantages so I think it is impossible to choose one over another. They are some people who like payoneer and others prefer paypal and that's just the way it is. Personally I don't have a preference.

I don't necessarily prefer any of the websites, I just use which is more convenient to do when I need to pay/receive money. Currently I use Paypal though because the websites I work on pay through Paypal, I buy in ebay through Paypal (also a lot more people use Paypal).

I think when I have to choose between PayPal and Payoneer, I would always prefer PayPal. It is undoubtedly the more reliable and popular option all over the World. I have registered with Payoneer but I don't use it much. I have not experienced any major problems with regards to my transactions with PayPal till now.

In addition, you guys should also consider other platforms that are gaining popularity, like Uphold, Skrill, and Payza. You should try to keep your assets distributed across several platforms since you never know. If possible try to integrate them with your bank.

I haven't tried Payoneer but online merchants/jobs usually ONLY accept PayPal as a payment method, that alone is enough reason to avoid the Payoneer because I don't see the point of signing up when PayPal is working well. So PayPal.

I personally use PayPal. I use it not only for online jobs, but also for the online games i am playing. It's system is very good and is very secure. And PayPal has a user friendly platform for first timers. It is safe for digitally sending and receiving money. Using PayPal might even be safer than giving your credit card directly to the website you’re buying from. Also, you can just secure your PayPal account by changing your password or card number.

PayPal is great if you have access to it. It is simple to setup and you can transfer money between PayPal accounts of you friends (in the same country) for a very low fee. Transferring from PayPal to your bank account is also easy.

I would like to share this with you with regards to how Paypal deal with their users. I salute them for very fast responses whenever I had an issue not so many months ago. I tried once to transfer my Paypal balance to my bank account. Back then, no balance was transferred to my bank account and the balance that was supposedly transferred to my bank account was deducted in my Paypal.
I tried to coordinate with their customer service through email. They immediately solved my case and gave back my money without any reservation. They are so professional by which one of the factors why I like Paypal.

Since I'm not from the United States, it is more convenient and easier to use Paypal compared to Payoneer. Paypal is widely used, most survey sites and freelancing websites have partnered with Paypal for their cash outs and rewards. I've visited most survey websites that are available in my country and I've never seen one that accepts Payoneer as a cash out option. Personally, Paypal has features that facilitates easy withdrawal of funds. Also, Paypal has very fast responses concerning issues and problems encountered by their users. They place importance on the security of buyers and sellers for daily transactions. For me, Paypal is the better.

Paypal has its ups and downs, but thusfar, it's the most reliable of the different online payment methods. The interface is also a lot more user friendly than Payoneer, and took less than five minutes for me to understand and use. That isn't to say that Payoneer isn't a decent service. It's just that it's not widely used in my industry, and it's not at all common in my country. I've seen people take paypal payments locally, but until recently, I've never even heard of Payoneer.

I am not being biased but I have been using Paypal for my online earnings for a long time and I have no issues with it. In fact, Paypal does not charge a fee with the withdrawal provided the amount to be withdrawn is within the minimum of 7,000 pesos which is roughly $150. I have no experience with Payoneer so I cannot say anything about it but I know that it is also popular like Paypal.

I do love to use Paypal as it is instant. and From seoclerks it is free to transfer. I just love that.
Sometimes I also had to use Payoneer but as it takes almost one week to transfer funds and also has a fee of $5 I don't prefer it.
Paypal does not need to pay any yearly fee but on the other hand, you have to pay a yearly fee to maintain the account in Payoneer which is even not less. $29 USD per Year. I don't like this.

The downside for Payoneer is that Seoclekrs will send you the money in 7 business days. It's an eternity and I don't understand why it takes so long for Seoclerks, while on other similar websites it's instant...
