Me and my family spend our Christmas this year as a whole. I say as a whole because my nephew spent his first Christmas with us. We went out the day before Christmas to spend time and bond outside. And Christmas day we spend the whole day in our house. Having the baby with our family makes it more merry and different. Babies bring joy to every member of our family. I even saw the different sides of my parents that i never thought they would have.

Yeah I did, my mom and siblings were in another city so I celebrated with few friends and it was fun.

Our Christmas differs from time to time. Sometimes, we have family gatherings and in later years gatherings are not possible. Because some of my relatives lives abroad. But, it is a common practice in our house to prepare food to be given to our neighbors and friends. This is the busiest time and makes me tired. But, I am happy to share and do service for people. It's a way of saying "thank you" for all the blessings I received. I also like to watch firework display. I am always happy to see different colorful lights. I just stayed at home and go online after 12:00 midnight till I get sleepy. Merry Christmas Everyone!*_*. Enjoy and God bless!

Christmas day is alwsys the busiest day of the year and I enjoy the slaughtering galore I do yearly. I like to butcher all the animals present and it's always a delight for the kids to watched on. From your narrative you always have a great day.

Yes, I always have a great but tiring day during Christmas season. I am always in charge with the groceries to cooking preparation. I guess, I am one of the best culinary chef in the family. ( Ha.ha.) Kidding aside, I also look forward for this occasion because I like to make and display miniature village. I like to design and color it. It's a fun activity. My mind is active and alert. A toy train is a lacking unit in my collection which until now I couldn't afford to buy. i am hopeful that I will be able to purchase it this year.

I was lucky enough to witness my very first fireworks Christmas display this year! It does add more magic to an already magical time. Did you call your relatives who live abroad to greet them? My dad's brother lives overseas as well, but we made it a point to call him when everyone else is here so we can say our greetings to him and his family.

Yes, truly fireworks beauty is wonderful. It entertained my eyes and made me say "Wow". It perfectly complete my season. I also go to the park that is well decorated and looks like a village. It is a busy place during season. We do greet our relatives thru video call on net. To see and how well they are. Keeping constant communication is important to keep our bond intact. Usually, all family members gather all together in a single home (or at least those who can attend). People arrive in the house a few days before Christmas so they can cooperate to make Christmas dinner for everyone. We are a large family, so we usually need a lot of people to make all those preparations. The house where we gather is big so it can accommodate several people. Some stay and receive the new year while there are others who prefer to return home after Christmas Eve.

The family gets up at about 6.00 am opens presents. We all than have a shower, have breakfast , do the prep for Christmas lunch and then go to church for an hour. We then come back and start to prepare lunch. We have Christmas Lunch quite late, around 2.00 pm. We are all full by around 4.00 pm so we wash the dishes and proceed to snooze, because that is what anyone is good for. For dinner we have the left overs from lunch. We play christmas games and watch christmas movies then sleep around midnight.

Well, it's close to 6 PM and it's Christmas Eve. It's been a delightfully quiet day. I expect tomorrow, i.e. Christmas Day to be the same. I will cook the holiday meal and then my hubby and I will watch TV and entertain any guests who drop by. My kids who are now adults will come up with ways to entertain themselves. I stayed with my family. Christmas is a special occasion for us. We cook special foods and surprise the children with gifts. When my nephews woke up, they were very surprised to find gifts beside them. They believe that it was Santa who gave it to them. We just stay home and offer a prayer when the clock strikes 12.

It is my father that acts as Santa. I really don't know where this tradition or story started but what I know is since I was a kid, we always do this. We hang socks by our windows and my father puts chocolates and money in it. They put the gifts besides us, so, when we wake up we will be surprised. I believe back then, that it was really Santa.

We also chose to stay at home with each other. What you did with your nephews is very memorable as I also experienced it once when I was young. I could say that it is one of the most memorable Christmas that I had as my parents also surprised us with gifts and we are very happy that time.

I think that during Christmas day I just stay in our house which we are doing some eating activities because we have plenty of foods during that day. We do have some drinking session together with the whole family while singing in a karaoke machine. It really feels good since it was a very happy day for me since many kids are visiting our house to receive some gifts and other candies that they really want during Christmas day.

Pretty standard. Gather up, eat our delicious Christmas dinner, watch a classic Christmas movie, open some gifts, then go back to sleep. This year, Christmas was a pretty amazing one. I and my siblings got some really nice gifts. I and my sister got a new phone, and my brother got a nice drawing tablet.

I just woke up this morning to fireworks,it was so beautiful to behold. Alot of colorful lights Sparks up in the sky and see people around smiling and giggling. We've actually got quite scared by the fireworks. We live in a desolate area with barely any people around, until recently we've heard gunfire shots. Eventually they turned out to be fireworks. It's crazy and scary, because we live in an area that is constantly at war. Fireworks are wonderful, but they'll never sound the same for us.

I have also heard of fireworks this morning. But It is not as many fireworks as before. I think it is because of the campaign of our Department of health to as much as possible avoid using fireworks in the celebration to avoid fire accidents.

I usually spend Christmas day at home, with my family. We would prepare our "specialty" dishes - spaghetti, lumpiang shanghai, barbeque, ham, fruit salad, cheesecake - and set them on the dinner table, along with our favorite wine. We'd eat and share stories, turn on the TV, play Christmas songs... it's a very intimate celebration.

As an OFW it's really hard to be with family during Christmas day/season. But whenever I had a chance to celebrate and be with them during Christmas our family members are exchanging gifts. Enjoying cooking individual's favorite food. Christmas is love because Jesus love us first so we gave worship, adoration and thanksgiving with the Almighty through going church. Giving presents/money to Godchildren as form of loving and a spirit of sharing.

We started celebrating yesterday, or last night rather. 24th of December, my aunt and her family joined us and so did my dad. We had a special dinner prepared for everyone and just spent the entire time talking and the kids just playing. By midnight we gave out our envelopes to the kids, then gave each other presents, then ate (again). We had a simple spread this time, oven baked ham, hotdogs, eggs, milk flan, cakes, ice cream. We didn't want to eat a lot because we planned on sleeping earlier compared to last year when we stayed up until 4 am. Now today, we just took the kids out to the mall for some fun and then ate dinner at a restaurant. It's a simple celebration.

I even forced myself out of bed even though I had a slight fever and body ache all over just so I could greet everyone. Our usual fare for Christmas is the family reunion with my siblings plus some cousins. It is my sister’s birthday too so their home is always the venue although we bring along food for sharing plus the gifts that we have for everyone. My mother lives with my sister so the focus is always on my 85-year old mother. We didn’t have games this Christmas because some of us have appointments after lunch time so we split earlier unlike in the previous years when we spent the whole day for the Christmas reunion.

In our residence we do not actually “do” Santa Claus and the culture of the way he grants presents to kids on Christmas Eve, in case you understand what I imply. Instead as our presents are bought or given to us we simply positioned them at the ground around the Christmas tree and that they stay untouched till we open them after lunch on Christmas Day.

I usually celebrate my Christmas at work this past few years because of my work place never closed in any circumstances and it was open 24 hours but yesterday I was luckily to have my day off exactly at Christmas day. We don't usually plan anything on Christmas because I wasn't available or even my family members and yesterday was just unplanned party with my siblings and we had so much fun. We played some games with cash prizes and exhanged gifts. It was one of the best Christmas day that I had and i wouldn't forget about it. There is nothing impossible when everyone particaipates.

Went back to my hometown this year and I expected something negative because usually my relatives always ask stupid questions like "When are you going to get married?" but I was surprised they didn't so I actually enjoyed it this year. This year, we chose to celebrate our christmas in our province. There we cooked and prepared our favorite foods. We may not have gifts for each other as we all don't have enough budget for it yet, we still had a great time together. We rarely get complete as we live away from our parents because of some reasons. I thought that it would be impossible for us to be complete as my father will choose to work instead of spending christmas eve with us. But, he managed to request a day off from work just to be with us and that is enough to make our christmas full of happiness.

As a family we would always share meals together , stay together go for outings and enjoy activities like swimming,balloon shooting, throwing of marbles and even hide and seek.mum and dad being the one's to seek for us..

A lot like any other day. This Christmas I did not travel back to meet my family. So it was just me, my friends and my computer. It was one long video editing day for me. The day just flew past me so fast, I could not tell until it was dark.

My Christmas for 3 consecutive years has been the same. Working. It not that I don't want to spend this very important day with my family, it's just that my work is very demanding during holiday seasons. When I got home from work everyone was drunk and sleeping already. Maybe I'll just catch up on my rest day and hopefully spend the New Year's Eve with them.

We stay at home every year during Christmas Day. My mother cooked her delicious recipes and shared with relatives that come over to our house during the day. I rarely go out during this day of the year. The last time I was not at home was when I did have a girlfriend, haha!

I spent my Christmas Eve with my wife and kids here at home and they went to her mom's place on Christmas Day and they'll be back here on the 30th. So it's 5 days of good 'ol R n R for me. I spent Christmas Day in my parents house eating and drinking. I'm now back to my house watching a lot of TV and getting fat

We usually start Christmas day by going to church then we prepare lots of food and entertain family and friends that come to visit. We hang out, snap pictures, exchange gifts and have a wonderful time

Christmas was somewhat stressful. While I do appreciate that I get to spend time with the family, it gets a little hectic when the little spats start happening. It could be over where we're eating, or it could be because the person leading the convoy chose a route with heavy traffic, but it got old very quickly.

I would much rather have a chill day at home with the people I love, eating home-cooked meals than go to fancy restaurants to hear people fight.

My family and I don't celebrate Christmas. We don't cook festive meals and such. For us, it is a regular day. I don't exactly know why but I think it's because my parents don't really believe that December 25 is the day of Christ's birth. Furthermore, it is known to be a pagan holiday and stuff like that. We do celebrate New Year though.

Christ was not born on 25th Dec we. Celebrate it as Christians coz Christ died and lives in our hearts..we celebrate this just to give thanks to God for what he is and for what he has done

In our village during Christmas its entertaining most of the kids prefer to be bought new clothing's and shoes...durimg this day they would go to church from 8:00 to 12noon..most parent would prepare delicacies like rice, pilau, chicken,roasted goat and so much more..they would go visit to nearest town and enjoy themselves with taking drinks and playing games such as hide and seek, marble throwing, swimming . its such an awesome experience merry merry merry Christmas

I had a quarrel with my friend last Christmas and it definitely changed my overall perspective of our celebration. I was a bit grumpy towards other people because of the anger I felt whenever I remember our little argument. Thankfully, my other friends cheered me up and still made it a wonderful experience for me. I still believe that my Christmas was wonderful because a few hours later me and my friend were then reconciled.

My Christmas was absolutely wonderful. Despite our simple celebration, I'm still very grateful that my family was complete during the holidays and we were happy and contented with what we have. I thank God that despite all of the predicaments that my family has experienced, we are still intact and still continue to love one another.

On Christmas day, we prepared delicious meals and did the exchange gifts. We also shared food with neighbors and got food from them too. We are only three in the family that is why having some visitors makes our Christmas day merrier. This does not happen every year but this year had been wonderful since we had relatives visited us.

Our Christmas is like everybody else's I guess. We go to mass earlier in the evening. After the service, the kids would go to bed so they could wake up at midnight while the rest of us would prepare food for the Noche Buena. When clock hits twelve and it's Christmas time we would wake the kids up, and share the food we prepared. After which we exchange gifts with the family members. I would say that our Christmas is pretty much the same as everyone. But what makes it special for us is that we are together as a family.
