    My first freelance writing job

    My first freelance writing job was writing a short script for a commercial. It was a two-page script. The client guided me through the whole process and I got paid $30. Not bad for someone who was just getting into the freelance writing business. I did get 2 more gigs which paid $90 each soon after but I wouldn't do any more because the payment was too low.

    I haven't done any script writing since then but if someone is willing to pay $5K for a 120 page re-write I'll do it. Otherwise I don't plan to write any more scripts in future.

    If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to write that two-page script? How about the next two that paid $90, how many pages were those jobs? I am just curious because I am interested and have not experienced writing for commercials. Thanks.

    Writing that first script took about three hours. It should have taken less time but the client just had to have everything perfect and well . . . it had to take that long.

    The other two weren't commercials. They were short, 15 page re-writes for a student. Took about 8 hours each.

    If you seek such jobs, I'm sure you could find a few on Upwork.

    Wow, really? Writing a short script for a commercial is already a great fulfillment. But, if it does not pay well, then, it's time to change.

    The first experience in 30 dol you liked why? it was a low price too. Of course, with experience we understand the cost of work

    Now that we’ve got a specific goal, we can start building towards that goal. Trying to make just $100 as a writer is a very attainable goal, that’s why we’re starting there. I am working for Emotional Support Animal letter online and it seems like Some people might hit this $100 goal on their very first gig, and others might take a couple of laps around the block before hitting that. Don’t get discouraged.
