How can I get more affiliates?

How can I get more affiliates? I have been promoting SEOClerks for 15 days and now I have 409 clicks but only 1 affiliate. Does anyone have some tricks to get more conversions/ affiliates? Any marketing strategy that works for you please guide me?

You need targeted traffic. If you use paid, non targeted your conversion will be low
