    If the multiple domains have their own pagerank and SEO juice it helps. If they have no SEO juice it does not effect. If they are penalized it hurts.
    Whenever you redirect a site to your domain you also redirect all SEO power of the site.

    Google does not have a parked domain detector, so if the domain names genuinely all factor to at least one area it won't hurt you. however, when you have duplicate content it's another story. To some instance it seems like you would possibly have more than one sites that every one have the identical content, however are different domains.
