    Is social bookmark still working for seo?

    I want to know that is social bookmarking sites still working for quality backlinks and for SEO. I have used them a few months ago and have got good result. But want to ask does only social bookmarking will help in getting good seo result. Sites like digg, reddit have high page rank and lots of traffic. Can they help get good ranking.

    Yes - best sites that you have mentioned are important for rankings, but weak social sites that are filled with links - of which makes no sense. With the latest update of Google, I would even say that weak social networks would rather hurt ...

    Social bookmarking is still working for seo. In fact, most of the off page SEO has now become depended on social networking sites and social bookmarking sites. Social bookmarking sites have increased their prowess. UNtil few years ago most of these sites were unknown to the SEO experts, however, these days these social bookmarking sites have become so powerful that they have become mandatory.

    I have been reading about the good effects of social bookmarking for the SEO capability of the website. But to be honest, I will confess my ignorance in social bookmarking. What I understand is that there are sites where you can go for bookmarking the link of your site and I have no idea on those sites for now. In other words, I have to learn about those sites and probably next time, I will post some details on how to go about it.
