Many freelancers work from home, and this is probably one of the best things about being a freelancer as it is undoubtedly convenient. Some have an office or a particular room that they use as an office.
But others do not have that and end up working in a room where they are going to have to get used to their relatives around them.

Q: Where do you work?
A: When I started I was in my aunts spare room and now I live in my own place and work from my couch while I try to ignore my TV
Q: Do you feel you need to be alone and secluded in a quiet place to be able to work?
A: At first, yes. But now I have a 7 year old and I've learned to work through the chaos lol. It's good and bad because sometimes my lady will be talking to me as I'm typing and I won't be listening. She really looooves this, not really.
Q: Do your relatives bother you when they talk etc, while you are trying to work?
A: Not anymore. When I started out I would get annoyed when someone was trying to talk to me but then I learned to just nod and smile. If they catch on that you're not listening and they get mad, you can just say "Well, I'm working". Now I can keep a conversation going, as long as I'm not mid paragraph or trying to configure something in my pages code
