I only signed up to a forum that has lots of empty forums / sub-forums if I know that's it is knew and has potential for becoming active, if I know the person that owns it, the owner or staff has asked me too or if its the only one I can really find in the niche. Forums with few posts

If someone hires me to make forum posts on their brand new forum then I don't mind doing that. But if it's just for personal use, I never sign up on brand new forums that have zero posts.

Some forums start off very fast, but interest among members fizzle when others don't join right away. The internet is littered with these forums. I just don't really take time to join as there is no one there to talk with.

I have visited one such forum the other day. There was practically no content and it looks like a ghost town to me. I think the total number of posts is less then 10. Maybe it failed to have a good launch so there were no takers. In those cases, my suggestion is to hire content writers to give the forum a semblance of activity. To be honest, I only go to a forum that is dynamic and if the forum looks dead, I don’t think I would register or even look inside.
