    One word to describe how freelancing makes you feel

    Freelancing makes me feel empowered.

    Before getting into freelance writing, I was a struggling affiliate. Once I found the online freelancing world, I was able to achieve my personal and financial goals easily by selling services that I am good at. The world of freelancing empowered me to earn in ways I had not before.

    What is one word that describes how freelancing makes you feel or which says how you feel about being a freelancer? And, what does that word mean to you when it comes to freelancing?

    My one word would be FREEDOM!
    Wait maybe I should take that back because I find that I work harder and longer. One word to describe how freelancing makes you feel Being your own boss is great if you have the fortitude to wear all the hats. i.e. sales, operations, accounting, marketing, tech/it and much more.

    Freelancing is a good thing as it gives me money when I want it that is not tied to an employer. So I don't have to beg for a raise if I want extra cash. But, it's not regular money like a job, so at times freelancing makes me feel frustrated.

    Rewarding! Working with my clients is both financially and emotionally rewarding and something I look forward to every day. I would not give it up for anything, though it is only part of my income, the work is well worth doing.

    Freelancing gives me options. And, I like how it lets me decide when I want to work and when I want to take time off. Though i'm not relying solely on the freelance work to pay my expenses, it is a nice option to have.

    FREEDOM!!

    Freelancing provides me the freedom I need, to spend more time with my son, and to do the very thing I want to do. I can set my own hours, work at my own pace, while kicking back and relaxing. Most times, I get ideas about articles when I'm out and about in my free time ;)

    The words I can think of right now are:

    "Opportunity-filled" - because freelancing opens up a lot of opportunities, not just financially rewarding ones but also an opportunity to grow and hone new life skills.

    "Pioneering" - even though freelancing has been existing for sometime now, more so in western countries, but it was never a mainstream thing nor was it a recognized job or source of income in my country, that is until recently. That's why I still consider myself as one of the pioneers of online freelancing.
