    Flaky would-be buyers

    This past week, I had a really unsettling experience with a potential buyer who messaged m a dozen times asking for information on some services that I had advertised on another forum.

    The person acted really interested and made me detail everything that I do as part of the job.

    They promised to order. Two days later, I still had no message from them and messaged back and still no answer.

    I know this person is available as he's online, but he won't respond back to me.

    I don't know why someone would make promises that they are going to buy a service from a freelancer and then just flake like that.

    Maybe they went with another seller who had better prices or services. You can't ever know why a person doesn't buy services from you. Though I understand it's frustrating to deal with people like that. And, we have all been there.

    It happened to me alot of times . I thinks its a part of freelancing field so get use to it as there is a lot of competition here so buyers move very fast . Just improve your marketing skills and judge buyer who will come again or just want information .
    Almost every day I got messages from potential buyers about my services they show a lot of interest in purchasing but never showed up again .
    Even I delivered my whole service for free and they buyer broke there promise and never came back to pay Flaky would-be buyers
    But its always good to give information about your services because may be after sometime that buyer return for your service to give it a try and become a good client after that Flaky would-be buyers

    It's possible that person was just fishing around for a deal and when you came back with an offer higher than what they wanted to pay, then they went elsewhere. That is not your fault as you cannot be expected to give more service to a customer for a lower price. Otherwise you will cheapen your services and then word will get out that one buyer paid so little and then they will all want to pay the lower price.
