    Can list building really earn money for me?

    What are the advantages of creating an email list for my blog? Why not just market directly to buyers and cut out the need for a list?

    The main purpose of having a list of potential buyers so that you can sell them various product from time to time and do not have to rely on traffic.

    Email lists are bread and butter for most of the Internet Marketers out there.

    Of course and obviously it can earn money from a list if your list is quality.
    I tried and I could sell products from sending newsletters to my list.

    I think it is best to market directly to the buyers. However, what buyers are you talking about? Where do you find them and how will you approach them? If you are talking about your present customers then I guess that will do for the moment. However, email marketing can still be of help to your business especially if you can find local subscribers who reside in the vicinity of your business place. And even for those residing far away, they can still order your products by delivery, right?
