4 Tips for More Effective Advertising

1. Get your ads placed on a right page, top right hand corner if at all possible. This works because the eyes naturally land here to help guide our hands into position to turn the page (amazing, but true!). If you can’t get top right, go for bottom right.
2. Try to avoid any labeling. You really, really don’t want the publisher to post a conspicuous “Paid Advertisement” notice above your ad. The KEY, remember is to cleverly disguise your ad to appear as normal news. The closer you get to matching the exact copy layout, style, font, size, column width and more… the greater your response. If the publisher insists on posting a notice, consider not running the ad.
3. Don’t highlight your name or company affiliation unless you have to. Again, the KEY is subtle disguise. News stories do not normally feature contact information of the author of the story.
4. Avoid any and all borders unless the publication uses borders to separate and highlight their news.

Very good tips for better advertising. Though most times, Google Adsense (and other online advertisers) require site owners to distinguish ads from regular content by labeling ads as such, so as not to fool consumers into clicking.

That's true. The sponsored contents and ads must have a clear distinction between your primary content. If you disguise ads and sponsored contents as the main content, the advertiser might penalize you by revoking your account. The ads must appear as ads. You can blend your ads with your content by having inside the content body, though.

I have some reservation regarding your point #2. If you check out advertising policy with ad networks you will find out they clearly mention that disguising ads as the content of your website is strictly prohibited. This means that your ads should appear as ads and it should be differentiated as ads and not as content.
To maximize your advertising, your ad units should be placed on the top, if possible, on the header. You may also use footer ads, but people rarely go to the bottom of the page

I have a cousin who is an executive in an advertising agency. He always tells people that you have to understand the likes and dislikes of your audience. That applies particularly to products that are not for general consumption like alcoholic drinks which are exclusive for adults or toys which are exclusive for children. If you know what a child would like for a doll then you can start concocting a promotional spiel that will apply to a little girl. In short, create the advertisement specifically for your target audience.

The most essential tip in making a viable ad is to keep it basic. Assignment Service | BestAssignmentService.com such a large number of sponsors need to pack as much data in an advertisement as space permits, not leaving any blank area and making so much substance that perusers don't set aside the effort to peruse all the fine print.
