Can my Skype phone number be used for Google verification?

I have a Skype phone number that redirects to my computer, so that when the telephone number is called by someone from the outside, I can pick up via my Skype.

Is it possible to use this type of telephone number to give to Google, for account verification when possible? I don't have a mobile as requested.

I am not sure, but I do not see why not. Just try it out sometime and let us know how it works.

It may possible. I think all phone number google accepted. But better cell phone number where you can read and write message. Skype phone only can work for getting code by call receive either message code.
