What if Facebook search was better than Google search?

Do you think it will ever happen that Facebook search has better results than Google search? If Facebook search included more inclusive results from various websites and blogs as well as Facebook pages/posts, would you use it more than Google search?

I don't like Facebook search as it only shows me other pages and friends rather than anything relevant I might be searching for on other sites.

Facebook search bar only searches for what is currently on the Facebook website or it's servers, it does not search for other websites. Google indexes and searches all websites and all relevant data to the current search from other servers. The only current runner up to Google is now Bing.

I hate FB search so they need to improve greatly before I will use that 100% of the time.

It your question happens in reality, that may be the end of the Google era. Take note that Facebook is like testing the video facility and it seems like putting up an informal competition to Youtube. If Facebook will change the design for the videos to be contained in a library like Youtube’s channel then it can give Youtube a run for its money. With the search function, it doesn’t necessarily need to be better than Google. All it needs is a decent search result and the likelihood is that people will be turning to Facebook from its Google habit.

It's nearing the end of 2018 and right now Facebook has more searches than Google. Eventually I think that Facebook would become more reliable and more efficient when it comes to searches.
