    How do I message someone who doesn't appear in chat side bar?

    I have over 500 Facebook friends and only a small percentage of those people appear in my chat side bar. It's cumbersome to actually find the person's page to send a message or even sort through dozens of old private messages from other friends, just to find the one we were having. Is there an easier way to message a friend who doesn't appear in the side chat bar?

    You can easily search for your friend's name in the search bar at the bottom of the chat box in your side panel. Even entering the first few letters of their name will bring up a variety of friend options. This is the easiest way to locate someone who does not appear on your side chat panel.

    Oh, oh, it looks like you are blocked by that someone. When I get annoyed by a friend who is sending me items frequently, I block them in Facebook messenger so they couldn’t send me anymore. When blocked, what happens is that he can see my profile and my posts but he cannot send me a message simply because my profile doesn’t appear on his messenger list and even if he clicks on my name, what would appear below are only 2 button, i.e. Friends and Follow. The third button which is Message is missing. Anyway, for you to communicate with that someone who may have blocked you in messenger, try posting a message on his timeline or post a comment on his latest post.
