Why We Will Use Google+?

I've been using G+ for a limited way for the last few months and to be honest I am struggling to find a place for it in the following terms:

Ease of use
Engagement with your customer/reader/fan base
Use as a social tool as the pool of people using it is significantly smaller than FB or Twitter

Has anyone had any noted success with G+ or is this a common problem people find.

If you are a publisher and have active users engaged with you then you can use G+ to connect with them. It will also help to increase your traffic. Also G+ can be used for personal network (i.e. with your friends and family). The concept is same as Facebook. Choice is yours between Facebook and G+.

In terms of social media and interacting with people though, I still do not hear people talking about Google+ like they do facebook or twitter. Mainstream media doesn't seem to promote on Google+ either. For example, I was watching the news this afternoon and the announcers always say something like "tweet me or post on facebook". Google+ is kind of like the joke of social media in the sense that no one seems to have an account or take it seriously. We'll have to see if this changes in the future though.

Google+ automatically places your verified website link in a couple of places for business pages....
Optimize Posts for Google Search Results and schedule Consistent Updates to Your Profile and Page....
Use Google+ as Your Business Page:-
Unlike facebook business pages where you are limited to commenting only on other pages, or a LinkedIn company page where you can’t do much outside of your own page, you can do a lot using Google+ as your business page...... Start by going to your profile photo at the top right of Google+ and selecting the page you want to use.....

There was a time when someone invited me to Google+ because of the revenue sharing scheme. As per the invite, it is a social media network "of sorts" where you can earn by posting and reacting to posts. That revenue sharing part made me interested. However, one friend said that it's not really the come on of Google+ because the earnings, if there were, is miniscule. And since I am on Faceboook already so I had forgotten all about Google+ until this thread popped up.
