How do I make them stop emailing me?

Everytime I go to the walmart.com store online and look at something or add it to cart, they send me lots of emails (almost instantly) about that item or related items. I know they are just trying to make a sale, especially if I left the item in cart and left the site and did not make a purchase. However, likely I will come back later and buy the item. I just can't tolerate five emails relating to it.

I don't have that much time to sort through their spam emails.

Is there some kind of notification setting I can use on Gmail that will allow me to sort the walmart.com emails into a folder as they arrive, so they never hit my email box? Some years back, a friend of mine on a forum mentioned how this is possible to do, but I don't remember the method.

Try to select their emails and mark them as "spam" or move them to spam folder. I guess all further messages from that email address will be marked same as spam.

Thank you. I will try that idea. While I like the walmart site and need to stay subscribed to their emails, I don't want their promotional emails. The only time I want an email from that site is when they are sending me info on a recent purchase so I will know when an item has shipped to me.

You can create filters in Gmail. Just make a label with name "Walmart" and create a filter that will put all emails from Walmart there with option to skip the inbox.

If you don't know how to create filters in gmail check this website: http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Filter-in-Gmail

I think there is some option like unsubscribe in the bottom of every mail you can unsubscribe that so that you will not get any mail
Thanks.

Pardon me if I cannot contribute anything to this discussion. I am just wondering why such sites have to pepper their clients and prospects of such advertising. Emailing is sometimes annoying especially when you are using a mobile browser because opening your email is not that easy unlike when you are using a computer browser. We also have an online store here called Lazada who keeps on sending me emails about the feedback of their service. I don’t open such emails.
