    For new blogs i suggest you to build more traffic and then come to monetize it, some of the best way of monetizations are.

    You can monetize your blog with:
    Ad networks: adsense, media.net, chitika, infolinks etc.
    Affiliate ads: product ads from Amazon, Comission Junction, Clickbank etc.
    Selling ad space: selling ad space in the platform like buy sell ads. If your blog has high traffic, you will find advertisers for your website.
    subscription: if your website sells services, you can earn money by selling subscriptions
    selling products: you can make money from your blog by selling products.

    Monetizing a new blog shouldn't be the first thing on your mind you should think more of getting traffic,no money can be made from monetizing a low traffic blog but if you have the traffic already and all that it takes then you can start with any great ads network like Google Adsense, media .net etc, sell ads space to advertisers, ask for donation from your users, incorporate affiliate marketing or simply sell your products on the blog,

    Adsense is the most popular way to monetize not just the blog but the website. However, Adsense has many restrictions and I have read in this forum that there are many sites with disapproved applications in Adsense. Another way is the affiliate program of Amazon. But I admit that I am still in the learning stage with affiliate marketing. If you have connections with businesses then maybe you can ask them to be a sponsor of your blog.

    Online Monetization of a Blogsite isn't really that profitable, you can't earn a thousand dollars on Adsense and Affiliate Marketing. I would suggest doing offline monetization like offline sponsorships. You can also earn from it by getting invited to offline press briefings, events of various businesses, persons of power and entertainment personalities and or outfits. A lot of money can be made from offline deals and gigs.
