Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

A lot of people set up these amazon affiliate websites on their own hosting account and link to certain products with their affiliate links. They do this because they will get up to a 10% commission from each sale that comes through their link. The nice thing is that they don't even have to buy what you're pushing, they just have to buy something on amazon.com and you get a commission.

Now is it worth it to push products that are on amazon for a measly 10% commission? Yup! I have a few friends who are making around $3,000 a month from a single amazon affiliate website and I think each of them have at least 10 websites set up. Now they aren't making $3,000 on each website, but I'm sure they're making a total of $5,000 to $7,000 a month through the amazon affiliate program. Not bad for just sending traffic to amazon Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

They do have pretty extensive PPC campaigns set up for each of their websites. Obviously the ones that are converting better are getting pushed more through adwords and bing/yahoo advertising. I have one close friend who I actually helped with his website and he set everything up on the advertising side and is now thinking about quitting his job because of the awesome ROI he's seeing Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

You wouldn't think that getting up to a 10% commission from a sale could add up to a full time income, but it does if you do it right Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales You can't target super big brands and think you're going to make $30 to $50 per sale but still be profitable. The amount you'd have to pay per click would probably be $1 to $10 and you'd go bankrupt pretty quick. The trick is to find an item in a small niche where no one is advertising. Set up a wordpress website that is dedicated to a certain niche and put up a ton of reviews about the products in that niche that isn't being advertised much. Now each niche will have different traffic obviously, but you can still spend a little bit of money for a decent amount of traffic if you can get your CPC down far enough Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

This is a pretty basic method that a lot of people do, but you can do it also. Don't be scared of venturing out just because you don't know exactly how it works. I know I'll be setting up some more small websites that target tiny niches.

The best part about his is you could be paying $0.01 to $0.05 per click in some niches and people will buy 10 of a specific item which you get $1 to $10 per sale Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales So for spending $1 to $5 in advertising you could walk away with $10 to $100. Not bad, right Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales This is a rare case, but it does happen Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

Are any of you running amazon affiliate websites and seeing a decent ROI?

I became amazon associate in 2012. I was writing on hubpages and hubpages offered amazon affiliate program. I posted related products with my articles and made one or two sales in a month. I was so happy with the result that when I was ready to set up my self hosted website, I created a website just to promote amazon products. I chose a niche and placed the amazon products on that niche. sadly, it did not work for me. Maybe I should start adword campaign to promote my store and bring sales.

I have heard that some people are making a great income simply with Amazon affiliate websites. I am sure that like you say with a good few niche websites set up that you can make some money.

I have made a few sales with Amazon but not a lot, however the website that I have set up is just a hobby of mine at this stage. Yes I am passionate about this website, but I don't often post on it. I have made a few dollars from it though.

I am very keen to set up a niche website for Amazon affiliate sales.

I see some people are selling ready made websites all set up and ready to start earning from Amazon. This does look quite appealing to me! This might be something I will try at some stage. Right now the less work I do the better Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

They do have pretty extensive PPC campaigns

This is where I need help. I always wanted to go into affiliate sales a little bit more, but I always had a problem with investing in complicated PPC campaigns. I fear I'll just lose all my money in this process without getting ROI.
Razzy, never had a an amazon affiliate sale, what option do you have to make a withdrawal once you are starting making a profit? Can you withdraw to your paypal account?

I know with amazon it will send the profits after 30ish days to whatever account you have on record. So if you have a paypal debit card I think you might be able to get it sent there by registering it as your primary payment method, but I'm not 100% sure if that will work. I have my profits from amazon merch sent to my business account, but that's not an affiliate store Is it worth it to set up a website dedicated to amazon affiliate sales

This is a question that I am asking these days. I have two amazon affiliate store on two different niche. On these websites, I promote amazon products as well as publish helpful articles on the same niche. I earned just about $10 in September. can you imagine I earned only $10 in one month? This amount is not enough to pay for hosting or domain renewal. One of the reasons why I might not be earning good could be I don't have large traffic. Traffic is necessary. However, having traffic is not enough your traffic must convert. You need to bring people on your website who actually buy your products.
