Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them!

Have you heard of Webfluential? It is a website where online influencers can register and link all their online profiles and create a portfolio.

So I connected all three of my websites, all my Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, LinkedIn profile and page, Google plus profile and page plus my Youtube account.

Then you can set different prices for creating a blog post or Youtube video and also for sharing content socially.

Then companies can browse through the portfolios to find online influencers in their niche and see who would be a good fit to get their name out there.

They then apply for quote from influencers and the website sends them a quotation which the influencer accepts or declines.

So anyway I am so chuffed that I have just received my first booking and I am to do my first job!

I just thought I would share that, perhaps some of the members here would be able to make use of Webfluential too?

Wow thanks for sharing. I'm a youtuber myself, so I could see using this one day if my channel gets popular enough.

Well if you are on Youtube already I would go for it anyway, there is certainly no harm in getting started early.

I only have 195 subscribers to my Youtube channel... but ok my job is for a blog post not for a Youtube video.

I am sure you can get started now even if your channel is not huge yet, there are lots of people looking for promotions and not all of them have a huge budget to spend on online marketing you may just find that you get a job. Plus if you have yourself up there some people might visit your channel through Webfluential... just another way to get yourself out there!

Seems like a pretty cool gig, Lynne. I would love to get an opportunity from a company to work for. I have an issue on content that I wouldn't promote myself. Do they give you the option to accept a job, or do you have to do it? I would love to go on that website and see what I could "influence" however, I don't really have that much active social accounts. I tend to be very quiet when it comes to social media.

Thanks Everett, yeah it is way cool.

Nope I don't have to accept a job I get an option to accept or decline which is cool. I wouldn't be happy to do just any job for anyone... this are my websites and my social media accounts so I want the control.

Yeah it is easy to see what your influence is Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them! Just check out on their website.

That's pretty awesome Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them! Contgrats Lynne!

How popular is that platform?
I've wanted to set up another source of income and doing social media posts and videos seems to be an easy enough job if you can find clients. But it seems that you found a nice platform that takes the client acquisition out of it and you can just focus on the content, which is what I love Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them!

How do you get paid?
Do you get to withdraw the funds immediately after the client pays up or do you have to wait for them to confirm the work has been done just like here on SeoClerks? I would assume that they have to confirm, but you never know lol Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them!

Are there requirements?
What kind of requirements are needed, if any, to apply for the platform and get accepted? Do you need a certain amount of followers, subscribers, readers, etc. or can anyone apply with hopes to gain clients wanting to post to your people? I don't have huge profiles but I do have some picking up steam and if I can monetize them a little bit it would feel like my work has been worth it.

Does the platform suggest how much to quote?
I'm sure there is a good amount of competition on there, and quotes need to be competitive, so does the platform let you know what the average quote is or what you should be around? Some people will quote $1 when others quote $1,000 so I'm sure there are people on there doing well and other who want to make millions but can't Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them! I guess you would have to do a lot of testing as well to give me some detailed answers lol Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them!

Hi Razzy

Webfluential appears to be quite a popular and respected platform yes. I have had a few enquiries and now my first booking and I have done nothing other than connect all my social networks and websites.. so in my eyes it is great!

I am not sure yet whether I get paid via Paypal or directly into my bank account because in the settings they ask for both. Payment is received 30 after completing the job.

No requirements are needed to join Webfluential Webfluential - I just got my first online job with them! It is free to join too which is cool and no deductions are made from your costs, it is the advertiser that pays fees to Webfluential which is cool.

Yes the platform tells you how much people with similar social signals are charging so you can choose how you want to price your campaigns.

You can also add the Webfluential widget to your websites which shows your social clout so if anyone wants to sign up they can click on it.

Another cool thing is that you get media kits to help you promote yourself and of course there is an affiliate program too.

I'll see you there?

Seems like a cool platform. More info here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmyMjQXWUq4

I would apply for this, but I have no influencer-based accounts from social media or blog worth connecting. Congrats Lynne on getting the job, what exactly do you have to do? It's a promotion type job on your youtube channel or something?

Are there any limits for being an Influencer? Do they accept anyone with any profiles?

Hey Cristian it is for an insurance company and they just want me to write a blog post on my website about their tool for calculating life insurance. Yes the job is a little more in depth than that but that is the basic jist of it.

Yeah I think they accept anyone with any social profiles.

No I had never heard of it, so thanks for sharing. I am glad you got your first job and hope you will be doing well. It seems to be a good platform and the idea behind it is good as influencer marketing is something that should be given importance, and sometimes many seem to avoid giving it the importance that it deserves. I checked out what others had to say about it and there seem to be several positive comments. So, may it work out just as great for you too Lynne.

I am so excited!

Webfluential, okay, I will remember that. It looks interesting to me although I don’t have an active website right now. Correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is to sell your profile as an advertiser. And when there is a client, you will promote that client via a blog or video. And then the payment follows. Maybe I can try that because we have a Youtube channel and I can start a new blog for that purpose. I hope to hear more from this discussion.
