Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website?

Good morning everyone. I am struggling with my search widget on my Wordpress website.

I added the widget to my side bar and when I am in the backend it all shows fine but when I look on my website frontend the search bar is not visible. Can anyone maybe assist me with some trouble shooting?

I did a Google search for answers but Search bar but I am referring to the website search bar.

Is the widget from the wordpress dashboard or is it linked through a plugin that you downloaded?

I've heard things about some plugins conflicting with the code of the wordpress theme or even conflicting with other wordpress plugins. This could likely be one of the main reasons that you're seeing it on the backend but when you make it live it doesn't show. If it is through a plugin, you'll have to contact the plugin developer and see what they think. If it's simply because of the theme not working with the pre-set wiedget, then you might have to contact the theme designer. Installing a search widget is pretty simple and I'm sure you're not messing anything up Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website?

I had a problem with a plugin last year, and I was paying $79 a month for it Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website? It is a pretty extensive plugin and helps me close leads for my marketing company, so it's worth its weight in gold. But I was having a problem where I would install it and put the shortcode on the specific page where I wanted it to show up, and it would just show my header and footer but not the body where I input the shortcode. I did my own trouble shooting and just kept remaking the page because it seemed to work randomly sometimes and other times it would break. So I would keep remaking the page until the shortcode actually showed what I wanted it to and left it lol. After setting it up and leaving it I haven't had any problems and it's been working fine. I contacted the developer and he said the short code seems to be conflicting with something in my header and that I should just create a blank page with the shortcode within it so there was no conflict. I didn't listen because I didn't want my header and footer to be removed, yeah I'm stubborn lol Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website?

Hopefully you can get this fixed on your website. It's frustrating when something is suppose to be easy and turns out to be a time suck Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website?

LOL yes I know what you mean about being stubborn. I am the most stubborn person I know Search widget not visible on my Wordpress website?

Strangely enough I was fiddling almost all morning with it and getting very upset. I posted this question and thought I would come back to sort it out later... I went back to my laptop which had my website open and lo and behold it was suddenly working. Go figure?

Well I am happy because it is working now, thanks for your suggestions though it is always useful to know how to trouble shoot problems!
