Just A spot of Coding any one ?

So just lately having the know how of a little bit of coding which I have been learning as really start to pull off. As I have my own business site which is made from scripts , php . I have been learning little bits here and there on CODING which really amazes me. Also wanted to ask do any of you code or want to learn to code. I learned few basic skills watching youtube and downloading free software created by adobe. The software anyone interested in is called Brackets in which is free coding software and really does help with coding.

I watch daily videos for tips and am also a member of freecodecamp website and in the middle of trying to write some codes with a few people. I just wanted to share this to see if anyone else is learning or even a coder. I do want to get better at it as I have already edited most of my PhP files on my index.html file on my server really good skill to learn. Brackets also helps the beginners and gives the knowledge of the basics , there is a few tutorials on this brackets on YouTube as well. Which is below just a formal tutorial on the software which I say again is totally free.

A great share for all of the aspiring coders! I am also a self-taught coder. I taught myself the same way as you - through videos and online tutorials. This is why I love the internet. It offers so much knowledge you just have to accept it and absorb it. YouTube has really good coding guides that teach you the basics but also the advanced things.

I haven't really used this software though, might give it a try because it doesn't look bad at all! Just A spot of Coding any one ?

Congrats on your progress and you new found love. I have been tinkering with the idea of learning to code for a while, though don't have the discipline to sit and read on my own like that without any guide or a teacher to look over me. I am wondering, do you think it is a good idea to join one of the numerous courses I see on platforms like coursera and teamtrehouse. Reason because I saw they have tutors that pop in once in a while to check once progress. Thanks.

It sounds like you really enjoy coding and working on your own website too. I have not heard about brackets, it does look simple and nice. How is your progress at freecodecamp? I have always wanted to join and learn from the site, but I have not take up the initiative to do so. Hope you will do well!

Congratulations for starting out, it's going to be a bumpy road but also a very rewarding one, so stay tight and enjoy the ride!
Brackets is probably my favorite coding editor I use, I love the fact it's open source and there are so many plugins available. Plus, I enjoy the design a lot, it's much cleaner than Atom for example.

Thanks for sharing this information. It reminds me of Dreamweaver which is a software to create website design. I was really amazed when I first handled Dreamweaver that it seemed to be free of coding because all you do is make the design on what you see. With this coding that you are sharing I guess it will benefit the young guys who the time to study the video and to learn by testing the tutorial.
