When it comes to social media, it's a great way to find new clients and also be found yourself.  When you're running a social media campaign, or just working on your social media profiles you're basically working on lead generation.  It's a bit different when it comes to working with Instagram since it's pretty closed off from the rest of the world.  Now I'm not saying that you can't access it if you were from an exotic location, I'm just saying there isn't much linking to be clicked on to move you away from the platform like all other platforms.  That being said, Instagram is still a pretty solid platform to help build your email lists.

Emailing has the best ROI over pretty much anything when it comes to marketing.  This is because people who sign up for your newsletters are waiting to see what you send them, which means they're interested in your products and services.  You don't have to worry about algorithm changes like in SEO because there are none lol.  You get a vote of confidence from the user and they allow you to email them, it's as simple as that, and now you can use Instagram to help get more people to sign up 4 ways you can use Instagram to build or grow your email list

The easiest way to get your list started, or to build it up, is to simply mention that you have a newsletter and you would encourage people to sign up to it.  Don't do it all the time because it could get annoying, I would say that if you're posting to Instagram every day, you can mention your newsletter once a week and still be in good graces with your followers.  If you're asking too often you could actually lose followers in a short amount of time.

Nice tips Razzy, I never thought of growing my email list by using Instagram. I agree that Instagram can be a great wait to lead users to buy products located outside Instagram, but for that to happen you must spark their interest enough so they will check your profile link or do a Google search on the product you are advertising (and you need to be in the first position for that).

Growing an email list has always been hard and doing it over Instagram should definitely be something to try out, though growing it by spending money on Instagram ads seems a bit overreaching. It won't be a first-hand conversion and you will lose some of those clicks over email subscription and a second time over email newsletter.

Can you not promote your product directly to Instagram? Let’s say your product is clothing, maybe you can post your picture holding a dress with a caption that says about your retailing business. I agree that if you have many followers in Instagram then you can be a sort of influencer on your own capability that you can use that for your marketing activity. I just cannot say if you can really build your email listing via Instagram if you don’t have a lot of followers.

That's really clever... I am not ashamed to admit that I didn't really know how to use Instagram in this way 4 ways you can use Instagram to build or grow your email list but hey, I still have plenty to learn and that's why I always enjoy reading through articles like yours.

The number 3 is definitely a home run. It will always work. Free things = a lot of people and clicks. But yeah, I agree that you have to fully explain to them that free actually means free, without any hidden agenda. If you do that, they won't hesitate to sign up for whatever it is... even if it's something small like a gift card. It's a smart way of acquiring people's emails. Thank you for the tips!

Guess it's time for me to create my own business instagram page huh. Thanks man for sharing your knowledge and experience in this area, I appreciate it. I did not know Ads where available on instagram to, that's a great thing because I think instagram is a portal where you easily can express and share your passion/niche on a more personal level if that makes sense. Getting to know your audience and making your presence known while building up trust to your audience is a real benefit.

Great tips, considering the fact that Instagram is growing steadily I'm sure this can be useful. I also didn't know that you could use actual ads on Instagram. The 3rd one is probably the best way out of all.

In any case, I know Instagram is very popular with millennials, and a lot of my blogging content is appreciated by them. Your Ideas are awesome. I just learned lots of tricks from your post. I never thought about growing and email list from instagram. It seems like it could be a rather quick method with your ideas. I mostly thought of instagram as a waste of time but you have changed my thinking and I will start exploring the opportunities. I already have an Instagram page for a business that I run but I am thinking I should create a few more for other online businesses that I run. I am even thinking about creating my own personal instagram page. I think that your ideas will make it quite easy to grow the businesses on instagram and earn some extra revenue. I agree with the first three points but the 4th is not good Because not all people are okay with advertisements, some people including me are supper annoyed by ads, And they even use adblocker for this reason, however I think you can still get your audience to follow you anywhere even subscribe on your YouTube channels just as long as you give them quality stuffs only.

Another insightful piece, I think getting people to sign-up on one's site could be less of work if we practicalize what we read.Most times we just read without putting it to action.These points if practicalize would bring more people to our mailing list.Another point is writing about what your title of your topic says.Some bloggers just trick people to their website with the catchy headline but the content is trashy.This can be very annonying.

I think having a newsletter is a big effort on your part. It’s not easy to be writing a newsletter regularly. But in fairness, I understand that the newsletter is one way of giving focus to your business and people receiving it will surely think it is interesting whenever it is relevant to them. However, it is another effort to send out newsletter because I have to admit that I am not interested in receiving such via email.

I have an instagram account, however, I am not using instagram for business or marketing purpose. I even don't know to to make use of instagram. I am on Pintertest where I can share links from my blogs or even affiliate products, however, I don't know how does image sharing works on instagram. You can of course have a link on your profile, however, I do not know how marketing works.
