The best reason to work at home, as a freelancer

Family is all important. After all, in addition to supporting yourself, your family is the main reason you're working at home. Also working at home is safer than being in the office with others where you can get infected.

I would prefer the steady paycheck that I had when I worked outside the home. But certain circumstances have changed my life, particularly the needs of other family members. While I did not like the fact that I no longer had a steady job/paycheck, if I have to tend to their needs, I don't have to worry about a boss or a supervisor being unsympathetic or uncaring. Sometimes when you work for others, they are not flexible, they are not empathetic or sympathetic to family and personal matters. If you don't show up for work regardless of whether you had a valid reason, YOU'RE FIRED! That's the real work world.

I also like being a freelancer because I can spend more time with my family. I worked in the office for years, and I was no time to spend with my kids. The quarantine taught me that it is possible to make money from home, so I continued my job as a graphic designer from home. The main disadvantage is that I don't have an official salary, and I don't get pay stubs. When I bought a new car, I had to present a pay stub to prove my income for getting leasing, so I had to generate a paycheck stub to get the leasing.
