You would need at least ten active moderators for so many actively posting members, considering most people will make two or three new posts daily. With a good spam plug in, you shouldn't need many moderators as you won't get lots of spammers signing up. I think it really depends on the time of day, days and times that you have more members posting you would want to have more moderators. In my opinion 1 moderator for every 100-200 active members is good enough. Because only a portion of those would have issues for the moderator to respond to.
